教学设计
教材分析
本节课为本单元第一课时,主要是让学生理解和运用本课的重点单词和句型。本单元的话题是shopping,学生很熟悉,非常容易激发学生的学习兴趣。新课标注重以人为本,学生的发展是英语课程的出发点和归宿。根据学生实际情况,进行教材分析和教材整合,调整教学内容以符合学生的认知水平。
学情分析
七年级的学生对学习英语有较强的记忆力和模仿力,有较强的求知欲和表现欲,但部分学生存在不自信,羞于表现等思想顾虑,但又希望能得到他人的肯定,因此我在教学中尽量让这部分学生参与到活动中,有更多的机会讲英语,减少他们的恐惧感,一些学困生由于基础薄弱,缺少丰富的语言基础,对某些任务的完成有一定的难度,在教学中我会多鼓励他们,让他们都能体验到成功的喜悦使各层次的学生都有收获。
教学目标
语言功能目标:谈论服装,询问价格。
语言技能目标:学会使用How much 引导的问句、形容词的使用、名词单复数的使用。
情感价值观目标:引导学生形成正确的理财观念,使学生养成勤俭节约、不乱花钱的好习惯,做一个懂事的孩子。
教学重点:
重点词汇:socks, T-shirt, trousers, shorts, sweater, shoes, big, small, how much.
重点句型:
(1)—How much is the sweater? —It’s 8 dollars.
—How much are the socks?—They are 2 dollars.
(2)—How much is this/that hat? —It’s seven dollars.
—How much are these/those shoes?—They are ten dollars.
(3) —How much is this/that long/big/blue shirt?
—It’s seven dollars.
—How much are these/those/small/short/black trousers?
—They are six dollars.

Learn to talk about prices.学习询问物品的价格,注意be动词的使用及名词单复数的用法。
教学过程
Step 1. Lead in
播放let’s go shopping的视频,学生观看并思考:Lily和Lucy买了哪些东西?
【设计说明】通过视频引出go shopping这个话题,通过视频中的衣服吸引学生的注意力和兴趣,活跃气氛,非常适合七年级的学生。
Step 2. Learn new words
使用多媒体呈现更多关于衣服的图片,反复进行训练,并通过学生站立式回答检查学生的掌握情况。
Work on 1a. Match the words with the things in the picture.
【设计说明】此环节设计目的有两个:一是让学生尽快进入学习状态,同时通过他们熟悉的内容引出新单词,二是通过单词学习活动,巩固学生对单词的拼写。
Step 3.Listening
教师问学生:“What do we use to buy these things?”引出dollar和yuan以及相应的符号,播放听力,让学生体会买东西的语言,从而引出“How much is”和“How much are”即本节课重点句型。
【设计说明】通过身边的五元人民币让学生眼前一亮,通过两个问题:“Do you like money?”及“RMB and dollar, which one do you like?”唤起学生的注意力,为买东西做铺垫。同时让学生了解美元和人民币的换算公式,拓宽学生的知识面。

出示大量图片让学生反复练习句型

【设计说明】大量的图片展示给学生看,让所有的学生都能参与到练习中,让学生掌握基本句型。
Step 5 Use adjective words.
通过“Are they the same?”这个问题,学生观察两件衣服之间的差别,自然地引出small, big, short, long这四个本节课需要学习的四个形容词,并且复习已经学过的颜色的形容词,由Let’s chant把四个形容词与表示颜色的词融合在一起,例如:a short yellow T-shirt, a small purple hat, a short red sweater, long black trousers.最后通过听力活动对本部分进行巩固加强。
【设计说明】新课标要求课程要以人为本,本活动让学生自己去发现两者的区别,教师在其中进行适时地指导,让学生自主学习,从听力中获取重点句型,并运用到自己的对话中。

大量图片展示让学生练习对话:

【设计说明】通过练习让学生掌握并巩固含有指示代词和表示颜色的词的句型。
Step 7 Role play the conversation in 2d.
总:听听力并回答问题:What does Mary buy?宏观上把握2d.
分:一句一句地进行模音,模仿听力中人物的音调,理解每句的意思。
总:两两一组分角色表演对话。
【设计说明】训练学生的英语语音语调,纠正学生的发音,培养良好的习惯。同时,2d中的习惯用语为下一环节做铺垫。
Step 8 Group work
每个小组是一个商店,为自己的商店起个名字,组内同学设置情境,利用已学过的句型设计一个购物的真实场景。
【设计说明】购物是学生日常生活中的真实场景,学生有话可说,参与的积极性很高,这个活动也综合了之前学习过的句型,起到整合知识的目的。
Step 8 情感升华
通过大屏幕展示父母劳动的场面,比如建筑工人,货车司机,高速清洁工等等让学生引起情感共鸣,理解家长挣钱来之不易,并展示学生帮家里做家务的图片,让学生养成正确的消费观,节约用钱,不铺张浪费,同时做一个孝顺懂事的好孩子,在家里分担家务。
【设计说明】引导学生形成正确的金钱观念,节约用钱,不铺张浪费,同时做一个孝顺懂事的好孩子,在家里分担家务。
