Class 1, Grade 1, west campus of No.2 High school of Lu’anThey are senior one students but they are very active and creative learners. However, it’s still very difficult for most of them to speak up in class. They have a relatively good command of vocabulary, but it’s hard for them to have a good grasp of the passage on the whole. So I will design and present my lesson by focusing on these features of my students.Analysis of the students
The content of my lesson is New Zealand Fact File from Culture Corner, Unit Four Module Two. This unit mainly deals with Cyberspace. This lesson is a typical introduction about a beautiful country---- New Zealand. Besides studying this lesson, students will be given an extensive reading to know basic information about New Zealand. At the same time, I will let the students know the structure of introducing a place and learn how to voice opinions while writing an introduction, which also enhances their reading skills, such as prediction, skimming and scanning.Analysis of teaching materials
