??1、教材内容简析:
人教版八年级下册第八单元中心话题是通过谈论最近发生的事情和经历,让学生学会掌握现在完成时的用法。通过本单元的学习使学生学会谈论最近发生的事情和经历,能够运用所学知识谈论刚刚最近读的文学作品和所欣赏的歌曲;通过阅读材料的学习,了解美国乡村音乐及如何谈论最喜欢的歌手或乐队。
??2、教学对象分析
??? 学生 (?http:?/??/?www.3edu.net?/??)通过本单元前期的学习,对现在完成时态的用法有了些许的语感和模仿运用的能力,也能够用简单的英语表达个人意见。
?【教学目标】
基于这是阅读课的第一课时,学生主要以阅读理解文本为目标,由此我确定了本节课的教学目标为:
1. 知识目标:
●学生能够基本了解本节课的单词和词组。了解本节课的单词有:beauty;abroad;fan; southern; modern; success; laughter; record; million等。词组有:ever since; used to; belong to; one another等。
2. 能力目标:
●学生能够通过略读、细读的方法阅读课文,能捕捉全文和段落大意。
●学生在阅读课文的过程中,能够排除不重要生词、推测关键词义,理解篇章。
●学生在阅读过程中形成正确的阅读策略,提高英语学习的积极性。???
3.情感目标:
●通过课堂学习活动,鼓励学生积极参与课堂活动,克服羞怯心理,加强与伙伴的合作,不怕出错,乐于纠错。
●激发其对英语的兴趣和喜爱,培养其学英语的积极性和自信心。
4. 文化意识目标:
●了解并学习美国乡村音乐。
教学重点:
1.现在完成时在阅读中的运用。
2.阅读过程中采用做笔记和划线找出文中的主旨大意,并能总结出文章核心内容。
教学难点:

【评价设计】
1.为了导入本节课的话题,且复习上节课的内容,采用free-talk 的形式谈论他们最喜欢的歌手或乐队,这样的设计,既复习旧知识,又为本文的即将进行的话题做了铺垫。
2.教师通过讲述自己最喜欢的歌手引入新的单词,激发了学生的学习兴趣,叙述完之后,让学生给以评价————What do you think of this song?既是对学生课前的熏陶,又调动了学生的积极性。
3.阅读中的回答问题、寻找关键字、分段总结,如此设计,均为对学生的阅读过程进行检测评价。
4.教师的即时鼓励性语言评价。
【教学过程】
Step 1 : Free Talk (2’)
(教师询问学生最喜欢的歌手或乐队,为引入本节课的话题做好铺垫。)
T: Let’s have a free talk! Do you have a favorite singer or band ? Who is she/he? Why do you like him? What do you think of his song?
Step 2: Ms Wang’s Favorite Singer (5’)
(基于语境创设的需要,通过语境引出文本出现的部分新单词,同时播放一段MV, 学生在欣赏的同时,潜移默化中初步感受美国乡村音乐的美好,增加了学生对文本的学习热情。)
T: Do you know who is my favorite singer? He is John Denver, a very famous singer from America. I like his songs because his songs are full of the beauty of nature. As I know, he has sold more than 700 million records. Ever since I heard his song on the radio, I have been a fan of him. Among all his songs, “Take me home, country road” is my favorite. Do you want to listen to it? While listening, please think about two questions:

教学反思:
本节课的阅读材料难度不小,话题对学生而言稍显陌生,有一定的距离感,我对文章进行了整合和设计,不仅体现了自己的思路,也有利于教学活动更好的开展。
本节课的教学难点是引导学生在阅读的过程中能借助关键信息对文本大意进行归纳或概述,由于给部分的阅读文本涉及到美国的乡村音乐,对于我们农村的学生而言,可能并不熟悉,因此,在教学时,我增加了适量的相关的文化背景知识介绍,同时在本节课的开始和中间环节播放了两首经典的乡村音乐视频,供学生欣赏体验,不仅增加了他们的文化积累,开阔视野,还能有效地调动学生学习英语的兴趣。
整节课的设计合理,突出了reading的特色,以阅读为主,主线条突出,舍弃了一些过于琐碎的知识,突出了阅读策略的渗透---通过题目预测文章的主要内容,下面的阅读训练分为skimming和careful-reading两部分,通过多种形式开展阅读,比较灵活。学生的活动有独立思考,也有小组交流,体现了生本特色和学思结合的课堂特点。内容的选择上也做了部分扩充,如关于Nashville的相关资料,对学生深入了解文章有很重要的帮助。
当然,这节课也有很多需要提高改进的地方:
1.我个人说的太多,没有把足够的时间教给学生;学生之间的交流过于少,学生课上回答的参与度比较小,学生口语表达的习惯和能力还需加强。
2.小组合作没有真正的运用到阅读中去,缺少考虑,是否活动里的小组活动真正有必要施行。有没有合作出“decision”,这也是我今后教学要注意的。
3.summary部分再给学生更多的时间,自己总结并能小组展示,这样就能照顾到不同层次的学生。
4.最后的情感提升,如若再给学生一点时间思考,真正起到思想的共鸣,那么这节课的情感目标能更好的达成。
总之,“打铁还需自身硬”要想课堂出彩,关键要不断提高自身素质,这样才能滋养出优秀的学生。学习之路其修远兮,吾将继续努力,不断求索!
