本节是阅读课，首先由几个问题引入激发学生的兴趣，尝试使用不同阅读技能进行阅读训练。利用学生熟悉的“踩地雷”游戏，进一步加深对文章细节的掌握，让学生在快乐中享受阅读。鼓励后进生展示，让他们树立自信；例如，课文的复述让成绩优秀的同学来做，而简单的题目要面向中等及中等以下的学生，让每位学生都有展示自我的机会，都能体会到成功的喜悦。
不足之处：本课是阅读课，中等偏下的学生朗读的不够熟练，部分新单词的发音欠准确。
