本节课是通过将本单元的互致问候、谈论天气、询问正在从事的活动等重点功能项目结构以明信片的形式呈现出来。通过明信片的阅读让学生学习书信用语和格式，进一步提高学生在生活中的英语交流能力；引导学生热爱生活，善于观察生活，了解世界各国的地理知识，同时培养学生关注天气的习惯，以及热爱自然，保护环境的意识。
老师在课堂授课时，要依据学情，及时调整学习方法，让学生有更好的情感体验，达到育人的效果。本单元主要谈论天气，在活动的选取方面，注重结合目标语言的机械操练及任务型的情景练习，使学生多方位的理解现在进行时的用法。让学生使用所学过的句型，可以巩固以前的知识。老师在任务中的指导地位是很重要的，要仔细设计好任务的各个环节，还要更加充分的备课、准备资料。

本课时将本单元的互致问候、谈论天气、询问正在从事的活动等重点功能项目结构以明信片的形式呈现出来。通过明信片的阅读让学生学习书信用语和格式，进一步提高学生在生活中的英语交流能力；引导学生热爱生活，善于观察生活，了解世界各国的地理知识，同时培养学生关注天气的习惯，以及热爱自然，保护环境的意识。
二、Learning situation analysis:
天气与我们的日常生活有关，学生比较感兴趣，加以图画形象配合更加直观。学生喜欢口语模仿、交流，对知识的输入通过语言操练来领悟比直接讲句型更容易接受。本单元通过对现在进行时的巩固学习，教师可随时设置贴近实际的情景，让学生在生动活泼的氛围中掌握教学内容。

Step 1 Warming up
