一、教材分析
本单元的语言训练重点是互相询问如何度过周末,描述周末所做的事情或所开展的活动,并对已过上一周的周末进行评论。语法重点是继续学习一般过去时态。
2、学情分析
学生在Unit 11 已经初步学习了一般过去时态,对本语法有了一定的基础知识。
3、教学目标(Teaching aims)
1.知识目标(Knowledge aims):
语言结构:
1).A. What did you do last weekend?
B. I played basketball on Saturday morning.
2).A. What did he do last weekend?
B. He went to the movies.
语言功能:一般过去时态
2.能力目标(Ability aims):
1).能在日常生活中恰当理解这课时范围内的单词和习惯用语,在真实的语言环境中体会语言,运用语言,感受语言的真实价值,品味语言的实际意义,从而获得运用语言的实际能力,运用所学知识进行创造性地发挥应用和积极主动地用英语进行交流。
2).能培养良好的听、说、读、写的能力,能正确使用动词过去式进行准确的描述。能够用一般过去时来叙述周末所做的事情,并写出一篇日记,用来介绍上周末发生的事情。
3.情感目标(Emotional ability):
合理安排自己周末的学习、运动、休息、娱乐等活动形式,过有意义的周末。
四、教学方法(Teaching methods)
1.挖掘教学内容和教学方法的新颖性和艺术性,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
2.采用互动的课堂模式,提倡开放式教学。
3.倡导“任务型”教学途径,让学生“做中学”或“用语言做事”。“学”是前提,“做”是目的;“学”是为了“做”,“做”又促进“学”,两者缺一不可。
五、学习策略(Learning strategies)
1.树立正确的“以人为本”的学习观,倡导自主学习、合作学习与探究式学习,发展主体性,培养独立学习意识,养成良好的学习习惯.
2.掌握科学的学习方法,通过不同的活动形式(小组活动、配对活动、采访活动等)共享资源,互助学习,在合作中取长补短。
六、教学重难点(Teaching key points and difficult points)
Key points: Some new phrases about activities and listening.
Difficult point: How to use past tense correctly to talk about last weekend freely and fluently.
七、教学过程(Teaching procedures)
Step 1. Warming-up and lead-in.
1. First,play a “cups” game together to provide a relaxing atmosphere.(第1张PPT)
2.Introduce three pieces of class rules.(第2张PPT)
3.Then watch the video “last weekend”,after watching the video, ask the question“What’s the video about?”.The students may say“It’s about last weekend”.So next I want to know about your last weekend,let’s learn.(第3张PPT)
Step 2. Presentation
1.T:What did you do last weekend? First let’s talk about Saturday morning.Lead students to answer like“ On Saturday morning, I camped by the lake. Then let students read after me twice each.(第4张PPT)
2.Show next picture of badminton and the time “Saturday afternoon”together.Ask students“What did you do last weekend?”.Lead students answer like “ On Saturday afternoon, I played badminton. (第5张PPT)
3.Show other pictures and time one by one.On Saturday/Sunday morning/afternoon/night, I did my homework/ went to the beach/boating/cinema.(第6-9张PPT)
4.Make a small summary about“What did you do last weekend?”(第10张PPT)
5.Then lead in “What did he/she do last weekend?”And guide them to answer.(第11-14张PPT)
6.Read the phrases together.(第15张PPT)
7.Play a competing game.(第16-25张PPT,其中第16张PPT上每一个气球都是一个超链接,点击每一个气球都会有不同题目或奖励,点击每张题目右下角符号返回游戏主PPT界面,直到做完所有游戏题目。最后,再点击游戏主界面右下角符号链接到采访活动界面,即第26张PPT)
