Let's take a look at these two pictures and ask the students to describe the two pictures.
The students basically described the red and the round. Then let's compare the difference between apple in the two pictures.
2. Let's look at a bunch of apples in this picture. Who can find the reddest apple?
同学们观察图片,描述图片上的两个苹果,并比较这两个苹果的差别。
观察图片找出最红的苹果。
从生活实际出发,激发同学们兴趣。提出形容词,使同学们有比较的概念。
引入最高级的概念。
讲授新课
1.The comparative level is the form of the word produced by comparing the two, which is transformed from the original level of the adjective.
2.When the highest level indicates that three or more people or things are compared, the highest level is used.
3.Show many pictures or things to present comparatives and superlatives.
4.Introducing comparative and superlative rules.
(1)We use comparatives + than to compare two people or things. We usually add –er to short adjectives and use more with long adjectives to form comparatives.
(2)We use the + superlatives to compare three or more people or things. We usually add –est to short adjectives and use most with long adjectives to form superlatives.
5.Group discussion
Ask the students to read the table on the eleventh page of the book and summarize several situations of comparative and advanced usage.
Ask the classmates to describe what they have summarized.
Small game: one after another
The students asked the three of them to form a group. One classmate said the adjective level, one classmate said that the adjectives were comparatively level, and the other classmates said that the adjectives were the most advanced.
7.A class profile
A Daniel is writing about is classmates. Help him complete the following table with the correct adjectives.
Fill in the form.
The group discussed the key grammar of this lesson and sent a representative to explain his point of view.
