Ask Ss to talk about the question” if there were a fire, what would you do”
讨论火灾来临时应该做什么。
通过讨论集中学生注意力，导入新课。
讲授新课
Presentation ：
Ask Ss to make a plan about the fire and show to the class.
Show the numbers of some situations to Ss.
Practice ：
Ask Ss to listen to the talk and help Simon complete his notes.
After listening, explain some phrases to Ss.
Tell Ss the differences between” in, on, to, across, though” and do some exercise.
Ask Ss to listen to the talk again and check their answers, then help Simon answer Annie’s questions.
Ask Ss to work in pairs and discuss what we should do first to deal with some accidents.
Homework
Find out more information about disasters and learn the first aid.
为火灾制作一个计划表并且向全班展示。
学习更多灾害来临时应该拨打的电话。

本节课主要是复习一下过去进行时，然后学习事故发生时应该拨打的电话号码。其次，在学习自然灾害的同时进行听力的练习，让同学们充分的把握听力材料。在练习过程中补充了部分介词的使用。最后，告诉同学们事故发生以后第一时间应该做的救护，让同学们在以后遇到同样的事情能够学会自救。
