教学目标:
知识目标:
让学生学习并掌握重点单词和词组:guitar, play the guitar, sing, dance, chess, play chess, speak English.
让学生学习目标语言:

---Yes, I/he/she/they can. /No, I/he/she/they can’t.
2) ---What club do you want to join?
---I want to join the...club.
2.能力目标:
1)根据听力训练能正确掌握听力技巧。
2)在情景教学中训练学生的口语技能。
3)把学习知识运用到实际生活中,激发学习兴趣。
3.情感目标:通过观看残疾学霸视频,让学生意识到:只要努力,一切皆有可能。
教学重点:学习询问并讨论自己或彼此的能力。
教学难点:情态动词can的句型。
教学过程:
Step 1:Lead-in
Watch a video about the abilities of some animals, then do the activities of“clap, fly, play the guitar”.Lead into the title“Can you play the guitar?”
设计意图:视频导入,激发兴趣。
Step 2 Presentation
Look at the pictures and learn new words: guitar, play the guitar, sing, dance, chess, play chess, speak English.
Then listen to new words, read together so that students can remember them.
Finally finish 1a.
设计意图:图片学单词,形象易接受。
Step 3: Free talk
Introduce Harry potter, then let Ss talk about their abilities using“Can you...?”.
设计意图:训练“Can you...?”句型,为听力做铺垫。
Step 4 Listening
Listen and number the conversations [1-3]
设计意图:听力训练,掌握听力技巧。
Step 5 Game Time
There are six tasks. Let Ss choose freely, finish the tasks. If they are right, they will get their scores.
设计意图:做游戏,再次激发学习兴趣,培养竞争意识。
Step 6: Word Game
Use Letters and make the word: club. Then look at the pictures and guess : What club are they?
设计意图:利用组单词游戏引出单词,简单有趣。
Step 7 Pairwork
First, the teacher asks and students answer. Then let Ss work in pairs,practice“What club do you want to join?”
设计意图:训练功能句,为听力做铺垫。
Step 8: Listening
Task 1: Listen and circle the clubs you hear. Finish 2a.
Task 2: Listen again, fill in the blanks.
设计意图:听力训练新句型。
Step 9: Imitation
Listen and imitate the sentences.
Answer the question: What club does Lisa want to join? Pay attention to “does”and“wants”.
设计意图:模仿听力,为了训练听说能力。回答问题,引出单三形式。
Step 10: Production
The teacher is a interviewer, interview two students.
Choose five students as interviewers. Let Ss interview other students.

Step 11 Consolidation
Do exercises, then check the answers.

Step 12 Summary
Sum up words, phrases and sentences they learned.
