Pre-task preparations
1. 用彩色粉笔在黑板上画一道彩虹,通过让学生猜,引出单词rainbow,从而引出本单元的话题Colours。
T: What’s this?
S1: It’s red...
然后让学生互相问答:
S1: What’s this?
S2: It’s red/...
2. 在黑板上出示彩虹的图片或用多媒体呈现彩虹的画面,并播放歌曲The rainbow的录音,让学生欣赏。
While-task procedures
1. 逐一出示Look and learn的生词卡片,一边念出生词,一边把卡片放到彩虹图片相应的颜色旁,然后让学生跟读数遍。教师可以增加orange, purple和violet这三张生词卡片,但不作认读要求。另外white和black这两张卡片可以放在图片中相应颜色的位置,如白云和小朋友的头发。
2. 将挂图贴在黑板上,指着彩虹图片,和个别学生进行示范问答,然后全班学生仿照范例进行对子活动。
T: (point to the rainbow in the picture) Look at the picture. What’s this?
S1: It’s a rainbow.
T: How many colours?
S2: Seven.
T: (point to the red colour) What colour is this?
S3: It’s red.
3. 带领学生朗读新句型What colour is it? 数遍,然后请学生进行对子活动,就挂图或身边的东西互相问答。
S1: (point to his/her schoolbag) Look at my schoolbag. What colour is it?
S2: It’s... (the colour of the schoolbag).
…
4. 带领学生逐一朗读并拼读生词,接着朗读句型,然后请学生就Sing a song的挂图互相问答。
T: Look at the picture. This is the sun. What colour is it?
S1: It’s yellow.
T: This is a cloud. What colour is it?
S1: It’s white.
教师对于学生的回答要及时用Good! Well done! 等加以肯定,也要鼓励和引导学生把以前学过的词汇和本单元句型结合起来进行创造性的运用。
S1: What colour is the rabbit?
S2: It’s white.
Post-task activities
1. 把学生分成四人一组,每个学生拿出一个自己的文具用品放在身后,让组内同学猜测物品的名称和颜色。
S1: What’s in my hand?
S2: A pencil?
S1: Yes, it is. What colour is it?
S3: Is it red?
S1: No, it isn’t
S4: Is it black?
S1: Yes, it is.
2. 让学生根据活动1作一个简单的汇报,帮助学生用…has… It’s … (colour)来说一说。
S2: (S1’s name) has a pencil. It’s black.

1. 通过猜谜游戏和小组活动帮助学生学习核心句型What colour is your ball? 及其回答It’s red and white.
2. 帮助学生学会用日常用语What’s the matter?关心同学和朋友。
3. 通过转陀螺下棋游戏帮助学生复习26个字母,同时进一步巩固和运用本单元核心句型。

2. 句型:What colour is your ball? It’s red and white.
3. 日常用语:What’s the matter?

Pre-task preparations
1. 出示26个字母的卡片,带领学生朗读 Review the letters的字母和单词。
T: Aa, apple, Bb, bag...
还可以带领学生一起朗读他们学过的字母儿歌。
T: A for apple. B for bag. An apple in a bag.
...
2. 单词游戏。教师快速出示生词卡片,让学生说出颜色并拼读单词。
T: (flash the card for red) What colour is it?
S1: It’s red.
T: How do you spell the word “red”?
S2: R-E-D, red.
…
While-task procedures
1. 游戏“猜一猜”请一个学生到讲台前背对黑板,教师拿出各种文具或玩具,然后从中任意挑出一件,请在座位上的学生描述这个物品的形状、颜色等,请台上的这名学生猜是什么东西。
S1: It is long.
S2: It is red.
T: It is red and long. What is it?
S4: Is it a pencil?
T: Yes, it is./No, it isn't.
最后拿出一个红白相间的皮球,让学生描述。
S1: It is big.
S2: It is round.
S3: It is red and white.
T: What is it?
S4: Is it …?
如果学生不会表达两种相间的颜色,教师可以给予帮助,为接下来的教学做铺垫。
2. 播放Listen and say的录音,请学生合上书听录音,然后回答以下问题(如果学生回答有一定的困难,教师可以自问自答,目的是启发、帮助学生理解对话)。
(1) How many children can you hear? (Three.)
(2) Is the little girl happy or sad? Why? (She’s sad. She can’t see/find her ball.)
接着,让学生打开课本,边看图边跟录音朗读课文,然后进一步回答问题。
What colour is the ball? (It’s red and white.)
Who sees/finds the ball? (Alice.)
Is the little girl happy now? (Yes, she’s happy.)
What does she say to Alice and Kitty? (“Thank you.”)
3. 带领学生朗读课文,然后请个别学生分角色朗读课文,接着把学生分成小组朗读,最后全班集体朗读。
4. 角色扮演。学生三人一组,分角色表演 Listen and say的对话。然后请几组学生上来表演。
Post-task activities
1. 请学生仔细观察Listen and say中的第一幅图后讨论。
How many children are there? (Three.)
Is there a kite in the sky? What colour is it?
(Yes. It’s yellow.)
假设一个小男孩玩丢了风筝,让学生帮忙找到风筝。
T: A little boy is looking for his kite. He is looking here and there. He can’t find it. Can you help him?
让学生三人一组,一个扮演丢风筝的小孩,两个扮演帮忙的学生,编一段对话。
S1: What’s the matter?
S2: I can’t find my kite.
S3: What colour is your kite?
S2: It’s yellow.
S1: Look! Is this your kite?
S2: Yes, it is! Thank you.
2. 让学生做Review the letters的游戏。学生结对玩游戏,轮流旋转数字陀螺,转到相应的数字就将棋子移到相应的卡片上,并读出卡片上的字母,任意说一个含有该字母的单词。还可以变换游戏形式,让学生六人一组(三人为A方,三人为B方)玩游戏,要求A方或B方学生正确地读出棋子对应的字母,并用这张卡片上的单词编段与课文内容相关的对话,如陀螺停在3,则A1、A2、A3把棋子向前移动三格,读出字母Cc,并编一段对话如:
Al: What’s the matter?
A2: I can’t find my cat.
A3: What colour is your cat?
A2: It’s yellow and black.
A1&A3: Look! Is that your cat?
A2: Yes, it is. Thank you.
对话内容可以作适当变化。只要对话正确,棋子就可以前行;如果任何一方读错字母或编不出对话,就停转一次陀螺,最先到达终点的一方获胜。

Pre-task preparation
1. 带领学生唱字母歌The ABC Song,复习26个字母。
2. 出示Sing a song的图片,指着rainbow中的澄色和紫色引出单词orange和purple,指着图中的树引出单词brown,带领学生朗读,学生跟读几遍后,做快速反应练习。
T: (point to the orange colour of the rainbow) What colour is it?
S1: It’s orange.
T: (point to the purple colour of the rainbow) What colour is it?
S2: It’s purple.
...
做快速反应练习时,还可以让学生问,教师回答,或学生问,学生答。
While-task procedures
准备一张红色的和一张蓝色的石蕊试纸,准备一瓶碱性和一瓶酸性溶液。
T: Look, boys and girls. What colour is it? (It’s red.)
Look at the water in the bottle. What colour is it? (It has no colour.)
教师把红色石蕊试纸放到装有碱性溶液的瓶子中浸一下拿出,提问学生。
T: Now look carefully. What colour is it now? (It’s blue.)
用同样方法把蓝色石蕊试纸放到酸性溶液中。
...
出示调色板和红、黄、蓝三种颜料,向学生提问。
T: (show the yellow paint) What colour is it?
S1: It’s yellow.
T: (show the blue paint) What colour is it?
S2: It’s blue.
然后播放Say and act的对话,让学生边听边跟读。
3. 示范朗读Say and act的对话,学生跟读几遍后,教师和学生分角色朗读对话。然后让学生两人一组表演对话。邀请几对学生上来表演。
4. Look and try:小实验。把学生分成四人一组,拿出事先准备好的调色板和各种颜料,分组做颜色实验。教师可以先示范。
T: Let’s mix red and yellow. It’s orange. Let’s mix yellow and blue. What colour is it?
Ss: Green!
然后让学生完成Colour and write,填写单词。
Post-task activities
Yellow + blue = green white + red = pink
Red + yellow = orange blue + red = purple
White + black = grey …
1. 小组比赛:将刚才小组实验(调色游戏)的结果演示给大家看,边做边说,看哪组颜色调得好,说出的正确句子多,鼓励学生大胆运用以前所学句型。
S1: (put some red paint on the plate) Look, this is red. (add some blue paint)This is blue, (mix red and blue) Look carefully. Now what colour is it?
S2: Look carefully! (put some yellow paint on the plate)This is yellow. This is blue. Now what colour is it?
2. 让学生看《练习册》Task的第一部分。让学生画一画自己的房间,并给房间里面的物品着色。然后和同桌互相介绍自己的房间,根据Task第二部分的句型提示说一说,对房间内物品的颜色进行回答。
S1: Look! This is my room. This is my desk.
S2: What colour is it?
S1: It’s white.
