The Internet has brought about great effects
on our lives. The first is its value for people
who are looking for information. When people
are in need of information, the Internet is now
superior to any other tool. The second is the
possibility to build groups online and form
friendships based on common interests, rather
than appearance, age or popularity.
However, there are some negative effects
as well. The main drawbacks are uncontrolled
information and unhealthy changes in the way
people spend their time.
With all the negative effects, for the time
being the Internet is still a positive tool that
helps make our lives better, as long as we
learn how to handle the problems it causes. Summary:
