Teaching Procedures:
Step1 Lead in
1. Ask students to guess my hobby, lead them to say their traveling experience and say we will travel around the USA today.
2.Watch a video about California, at same time, listen the song: Hotel California and answer a question: Which part of the USA is this?
3.Look at a map. Let’s learn the geography of the USA.
The purpose of this step is to arouse the students’ interest in this lesson, at the same time, help the students to review the knowledge about California, and lead them to the topic.
