教学内容:

教学过程:
一、组织教学及复习
1. 带一些人们正在庆祝节日的照片,比如新年,(PPT1)圣诞节等等。也可以让学生带上一些他们自己经历的庆祝节日的照片过来。
2. 把学生带过来的照片和自己准备的照片贴在黑板上,让学生一起来谈论照片里是什么节日,然后他们来两人一组谈论照片里的人们正在做什么? [注1]
[注1]利用图片和生活中学生熟悉的节日的话题引入课题。
二、新知识的呈现与归纳
1.展示第一张 PPT,是一张喜庆迎春节的照片。 然后让学生讨论: “what were they doing at midnight?”接下来展示第二张PPT,引入今天的话题和主人公Pat, Tim和Koko。通过创设情景,打开第三张PPT,在情景中进行本课新单词和词组的教学。[注2]
[注2] 利用课件很好的引入话题,展开话题。设置一个学生最喜欢的网上聊QQ的情景,进入课文新知识的学习。
2. 先示范一遍给学生看。看图片用一般过去时态和过去进行时态把课文给出的短语连成完整的句子。比如:bells ring/ at home / watch TV ,就可以这样来表达:“When the bells rang, I was at home. I was watching TV.”剩下的四张图片可以通过所创设的情景,让学生用“When+过去进行时态”来描述。
3. 让学生打开课本,同时播放金太阳的VCD,让学生跟读一遍课文,接下来全班分成四个组,分别扮演课本里四个不同的角色 Pat, Koko, Bob 和 Tim,看图片朗读一遍。
三、新知识的巩固与活用
1. 把全班分成四个组,每组请一个学生到讲台上来,四个在台上的学生分别做出不同的动作,比如:cheering, sleeping, talking, watching TV, 等等。剩下的学生猜他们刚刚正在做什么并用 “when+过去进行时态” 的完整句子写下来。
2. 展示 PPT15—35 来巩固今天所学的知识。[注3]
[注3] 通过三个游戏“reading and fishing, listening and talking” 巩固和训练本课时的重难点。学生们都喜欢做游戏, 在游戏中学习,学生学得更积极,更快乐。
四、小结
老师:今天我们学习了 “when+过去进行时态”,表示在过去的某时间里,某件事情正在发生。请同学们举个例子来描述一下。
学生:When the bells rang, I was watching TV with my family.
五、作业布置
评价手册第47页Part A第1,2小题
1.听读A部分五遍。
2.完成A 部分的句子,并抄写在1号本上。
3. 写下自己春节除夕午夜的时候正在做什么?
4. 完成活动手册第47页。

Step 1. Warm-up
1.Let the Students sing an English song together.
2. Ask the students: What were you doing when I came in? What were you doing when the sun came up?
Step2. Presentation.
1. Ask the students about good times that they remember. For example, Liu Xiang winning a gold medal at the 2004 Olympics, Yang Liwei going into space in 2003, or any other good memories they have. The students may also talk about what they were doing when they heard that China got the 2008 Olympics. Tell the students that the 2008 Olympics will be held in Beijing. Cities like Tianjin, Shanghai, Shenyang and Qinhuangdao will also hold some of the Olympic competitions. It is expected that about 10,500 athletes will participate in the Games. It will also bring many tourists from all over the world to Beijing.
2. Ask the students to recall what they were doing then. Have some students tell the class using the structure I was ----when I heard the news.
Step 3. Reading
Show Transparency. Point to the pictures and talk about what is in each picture. Play the pupil’s Book Cassette. Read the conversation and ask the class to read it
Get the 2008 Olympics, see the news on TV, hear the news on the radio, hear about, in the future, work hard, at the swimming pool, go to the Olympics, get into the World Cup.
Step 4. Presentation.
Tell the students to match the children and the activities according to the conversation. Then check the answers with the class.
Step 5. Practice.
Ask the students to read the dialogue and the words in the children’s thought bubbles below. Tell them to complete the dialogue using the words provided. Ask two students to read out the dialogue for the class to check the answers.
Pat: What were you doing when China got into the World Cup?
Kim: I was talking to my friend at home when I heard it . It was exciting.
Pat: I was watching TV at home . When I saw it , I was cheered.
Step 6. Test.

导入新课
1. 全班齐唱G部分的歌谣。
2. 竖着三行写下出现在歌谣里的含有[f], [v]和 [w]音标的单词。让学生大声朗读两遍。
3. 写下出现在歌谣里的含有[f], [v]和 [w]音标的单词。
初学新课
1. 把音标[f],[v]和[w]写在这些词的上面,通过一个完整的单词询问学生[f]的发音,教读这个音标,依次教读音标[v]和[w]。让学生讨论说出所学过的含有这三个音标的其他单词。
2. 播放VCD,让学生跟读音标和单词。
3. 慢慢地而且清晰地朗读单词,以保证学生们能区分不同音标发音的不同,而且学会正确地发音。 把音标[f],[v]和[w]写在这些词的上面学生讨论说出所学过的含有这三个音标的其他单词。
引导释疑
1. 指着图片,不带读给学生模仿,检查学生自己是否能真正正确地读出这些词。
2. 再一次播放录音,让学生听韵律诗,并跟读。
3. 展示 PPT。请三个同学上讲台写出听到的含有三个音标的单词,每个同学只需写出一个音标的单词。学生听韵律诗,并跟读。
拓展学习
告诉学生课本64页的文章内容是关于付亚飞赢得跑步金牌的时候他的家人正在做什么?让学生认真地看图并默读一遍文章。
要求学生给文章中出现的人物做记号,并填在课文给出的方格里。学生认真地看图并默读一遍文章。
当堂检测?
1. 请同学们看课本?65?页,告诉学生前三张图是关于三个不同的事件,后六张图片是不同的人正在做?不同的事情。请学生任选一张事件的图片和三张不同的?人正在做不同的事情,然后完成下面的内容。展示PPT?。?
