通过游戏、小组合作等形式提高学生的学习兴趣。
通过唱歌、涂色等过程激发学生的学习兴趣。培养学生的观察能力和逻辑思维能力。

一、Warming-up
1、Greetings
2、Say a chat: The days of the week.
Show a calendar ,learn the word “week” and write the topic.
Teach the pupils the new words of the days of the week : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday , Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
二、Let’s find their favorite days.
1、T shows word cards, Ss read and spell them quickly.
2、Play a guessing game:
?? T shows the first letters of the words, let pupils guess: What day is it? If they guess two or three words, T continue to show the second letters of this word. Then ask pupils to go on guessing.
3、T says colors, Ss say the letters.
?? T: Red. Ss: S.
?? T: Purple. Ss: T…
4、Ask pupils to read out these children’s name: Ann, Benny,
?? Frank, Liz
5、Give the pupils an example.
6、Let them do the excise in 5 minutes.

Listen and sing the song. Then color the animals.
1、Leading in
?? T: Last lesson we learned a story—Emma’s new room. Can you remember the story?
? Ps: Yes.
? T: Good! Can you tell me what color does Emma hate?

? T: Yes. Emma hates pink.( Write the sentence on the Bb)
? Read it after T.
2、Teach to say: (Emma) hates (pink).
a. T: Do you like pink? (Ask a boy)
? P1: No.
? T: Ok, now we can say “ (? ) hates pink.
b. Practice to say the sentence phrase in this way.
3、Teach to say: She paints … on….
a. Look and spell the days of the week.
b. Learn to say “ on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday…”
c. Play a memory game:
? T give Ps 15 seconds to remember the color of these animals. Then close books.
d. T: What does Emma paint on Monday?
? S1: A red budgie.
? T: Good! She paints a red budgie on Monday.
? T repeat the sentence and fill in the blanks on Bb.
e. Ask pupils to read the sentence several times.
f. Let pupils answer what Emma paints on other days by using the sentence phrase: She paints…on…
4、Open books at page48. Ask pupils to try to read the words of the song.
5、Listen to the song three times. The pupils can sing it in low voice.
6、Listen again. Ask the pupils to color in the animals according to the text.
7、Play the cassette and let the pupils sing together.
三、Circle the days of the week.
1、Let the pupils review the days of the week.
2、The pupils have to find and circle the days of the week in the grid.
3、The exercise should be done individually and corrected in pairs.
四、Write about yourself. Complete the sentence.
1、T: What’s Ann’s favorite day?
P1: Saturday.
T: Yes. Ann’s favorite day is Saturday. What’s your favorite day?
P1: My favorite day is Sunday.
2、T asks some pupils in this way.
3、T writes the sentence “My favorite day is …” on the Bb.
4、Ask pupils to make sentence by using the phrase.
5、T: My favorite color is pink. What’s your favorite color?
6、Practice to say: My favorite color is …
7、Practice to say: My favorite pet/number/toy is…
8、Open books at page49. Do the exercise 9: Write about yourself.

Action game : I point to the pictures , let them say out the words as quickly as they can : together – group works – some individuals
Look at the pictures , I point they say , then I say they point , the faster the winner .

一、Warming-up& Revision
1、话题引入Greetings
T:Hello! Today is Monday/.... , Do you like Monday?
Ss: Hello! Yes, I like Monday / No, I hate Monday.
2、学习新单词Show a calendar ,learn the word “week” and write the topic.
3、Teach to read the topic of Unit 2.
二、Presentation
1、T shows someday of calendar like this:

(Show the cards “Monday” and stick it on the Bb.
2、T teach pupils to read the word.
3、Ask Ss to read it one by one . (T write Mon . on the Bb)
4、Introduce all the other days of the week in this way.
5、Practice to say the seven words: Monday—Sunday.
a. Pupils read the seven words together after the T.
b. T points to one of the words, Ss say in English quickly.
c. Play a game: What’s missing?
T takes out a card and let the Ss guess What is it?(group match)
d. T says out the day of a week, Ss say out the later day or the former day of it .(At first T says, then a pupil)
e. Ss say from Monday to Sunday quickly.
三、听说对话Listen and say the chant.
1、师生演绎With the book closed, say and play the chant with teacher .
2、仔细阅读Looking at the text ,listen to the cassette two or three times.
3、听命令做动作T says the word ,the pupils do the action.
4、系统学习The pupils learn to say :Saturday,1,2,3.Sunday,come with me.
5、练习Listen to the chant several times and let pupils say it followed by the cassette.
6、实践Asking for some volunteers to repeat the chant along with the cassette.
7、重复The whole class repeat the chant along with the cassette.
四、Listen and say the number.
1、The pupils talk about the day they like, then show the words,
and draw some picture they doing in that day.
2、Ss open their books at P44,T talks to them in mother tongue
?? about the importance of understanding the gist of a message
?? from the tone of voice, the modulation and by connecting
?? images and sounds.
Play the cassette once. Let the pupils say out the number.
五、Practice
1、Play a chain game.
?? First of all, T asks a pupil: What’s your favorite day? The

your favorite day?… Ask and answer like a chain.
