Ask Ss what proper and explain mean. Have Ss listen and imitate. Step 5: Post-readingInvite Ss to show their opinions whether they agree/disagree with Mr. Hunt’s advice. And show them the sentence patterns about giving suggestions. Put forward T’s advice for the problems and ask Ss what family means. 教学反思 本节课为一节阅读课,阅读一直是英语教学的重点和难点,也是最容易让学生感觉枯燥无聊的课型。因此笔者注重对学生进行学法指导,本节课采用了自主学习、合作学习和探究学习相结合的方式,融知识性和趣味性为一体。笔者深知以“教师为主导,学生为主体”,教师的“导”始终立足于学生的“学”。就整堂课而言,笔者认为重点突出,注重开放性且设置了有效的互动,教学目标达成度较高。最后一个环节的情感升华,学生真情流露,表达了对家人的感激之情同时提升了学生关爱他人的文化品格。本节课,笔者设计了两条并存的主线,一条是problem——advice,另一条是笔者根据文本理出的情感线索sad——happy。但是本节课依然存在很多不足之处:(1)这节课生词较多,笔者采用的教学方法是要求学生在课前自行掌握,在课堂中有些生词没有呈现出来;(2)本节课缺乏亮点,有点平淡。(3)笔者会把自己的意见强加给学生,要注意指导学生自己得出结论。

My problem is that I can’t get on with my family. Relations between my parents have become difficult. They fight a lot, and I really don’t like it. It’s the only communication they have. I don’t know if I should say anything to them about this. When they argue, it’s like a big, black cloud hanging over our home. Also, my elder brother is not very nice to me. He always refuses to let me watch my favorite TV show. Instead he watches whatever he wants until late at night. I do not think this is fair. At home I always feel lonely and nervous. Is that normal?
