本课时是外研版七年级下册Module 2 What do you do ? Unit 1 I can play the piano的第一课时。本节课的主要内容是要求学生能讲述自己能做什么以及学会询问朋友能做什么。本课时教材设计贴近学生生活实际。本课时的基本句型，单词及内容为后面的学习作了铺垫，起着引领作用。学情方面，初一的学生活泼好动，爱表现自己的特点。对自己会做的事还是很愿意去表现的。对What do you do ?和它的回答：I can …，学生的学习兴趣浓，比较容易参与课堂活动。
【学习目标】
1． 学生能根据音标正确拼读本单元的单词；（见课本P104）
2． 学生了解课本P8-9出现的短语和重点句型、情态动词can；

是英语口语中常用的两个省略句型，它们的意思和用法基本相同, 后面可以加人称代词宾格，名词或者动词-ing形式。

（2）征询对方的看法或意见。例如： What about the TV play? 那个电视剧怎么样？
（3）询问天气或身体等情况。例如： What about the weather in your home town?

你身体不好使他的父母很发愁。 worry也可作不及物动词，意为“烦恼、担心、发愁”，常跟介词about。如：

同义短语为 be worried about。如：
