Module 3 Unit 1 What are you going to do at the weekend?
教学模式介绍
探究式教学模式是指在教学过程中,要求学生在教师指导下,通过以“自主、探究、合作”为特征的学习方式对当前教学内容中的主要知识点进行自主学习、深入探究并进行小组合作交流,从而较好地达到课程标准中关于认知目标与情感目标要求的一种教学模式。其中认知目标涉及与学科相关知识、概念、原理与能力的掌握;情感目标则涉及思想感情与道德品质的培养。
探究式课堂教学模式的教学环节:
创设情境——启发思考——自主(或小组)探究——协作交流——总结提高
设计思路说明
【创设情境】
教师首先用英语问好,营造良好的英语氛围,以旧引新,先引导学生回顾相似的语法结构 be doing。通过创设情境,示范教学内容,启发学生的思维,组织学生实践,培养学生的语言交际能力。
【启发思考】
引导学生谈论图片,训练学生描述事情的能力。在描述的同时学习新单词和句型,做到词不离句,为学生扫清学习障碍。
【自主或小组探究】
通过多样的有意义的学生活动,其中有个人、两人、小组和全班性的, 有教师指导性的,也有需要学生独立或合作完成的,给学生以开放的空间,培养了学生用英语做事情和用英语交流的能力。
【协作交流】
通过前面环节的学习,学生已基本掌握本节课的内容,教师让学生找出课文的语言点并积极完成本课的测验,既培养了学生的胆量,又培养了他们自主学习的能力,同时也对本课的学习成效进行检测。
【总结提高】
引导学生对这节课的总结,让学生做自由发言,培养学生自主学习,自主总结的良好学习习惯。简短的评价使学生的课堂表现得到肯定并且可以激励学生的学习兴趣,树立学习英语的信心。
教材分析
本单元要求学生掌握有关出游的动词短语,通过讨论周末要做的事情,学习用be going to结构表达自己打算或计划要做的事。内容主要以对话的形式出现,由于是本模块的第一单元,只需做好正确的输入准备,不要求学生对句型所有人称的使用进行熟练掌握。
教学目标
【知识与能力目标】
1.词汇:全体学生能正确认读、听懂、理解相关的动词短语,能正确拼写:
plan, check, have a piano lesson, have a picnic see a move go, do one’s homework
2.句型:be going to+动词原形,表达一般将来时。多数学生能够听懂、理解、说出下列关于“将来做某事”的句型:
What are you going to do tomorrow? I am going to ….
【过程与方法目标】
1.能谈论周末计划要做的事情。
2.能听懂并且理解教材Activity 中的对话内容;程度较弱的学生要求能理解对话。
【情感态度价值观目标】
1.在教学过程中,学生们通过实践,体验与他人合作,共同完成学习任务的乐趣。
2.养成良好的有计划的生活和学习习惯,形成乐观的生活态度。
教学重难点
【教学重点】
1.学习be going to结构描述将来要做的事。知识目标中词汇与句型的讲授与学习。
2.词汇与句型在听、说、读三方面的多重输出。
【教学难点】
学生能根据教师提供的活动要求完成口头叙述他人计划的任务。

教学过程
一、创设情境
1. 教师与学生日常问候。
2. 教师做动作,让学生猜一猜“现在”正在做什么?例:
“You are sleeping...” “You are drinking...”
让学生两两进行猜一猜的活动,例:
“He is fishing... She is...”
活动中注意引导学生使用现在进行时态,引导学生回顾相似的语法结构be doing.
完成教材活动1和2的练习,让学生对如何正确表述活动进行巩固练习。
二、启发思考
教师展示活动图片,引导学生思考如果要周末要进行这些活动,应该如何表述?引导学生先思考如何表述这些活动,然后把一般现在进行时和一般将来时进行简单的对比了解。

1. 阅读课文listen and read 部分,思考Betty, Daming, Tony, Lingling周末计划去哪里?
What’s Daming going to do on Saturday morning?
What’s Betty going to do on Saturday afternoon?
Who is going to have a piano lesson on Saturday?
Where are they going to have a picnic?
完成课文后练习。
3.教师让学生再次分段朗读并找出课文的language point或不理解的地方,教师邀请其他已掌握的学生进行解释,教师根据学生回答情况进行评价和解析。
2. 合作探究
小组活动:运用本课学习的句型,小组内相互询问周末计划并完成表格填写。
Ask and answer questions about your plans at the weekend.
—What are you going to do on Saturday morning?
—I’m going to check my email and do my homework.
协作交流
1. 教师展示本节课音标,让学生找出课文中的发音相同的单词,教师点拨、补充语言点,让学生进一步理解语言点。
2. 学生完成本节课的测验,对于本节课的学习的知识点进行检测。
五、总结提高

1. 学生自己尝试梳理本课的知识点,教师进行评价并最终形成知识框架。
