课前准备
1.教师准备钟表,Mike和Alisha的手偶;
2.录音机及录音带;
3.吃早饭,上床睡觉,起床,吃午饭,打乒乓球,回家,上学等的单词卡片
4.指针分别指向4:20, 7:30,7:40,4:45的表盘。
5.在不同的时间贴有吃早饭,上床睡觉,起床,吃午饭,打乒乓球,回家,看电视,玩游戏,吃晚饭,上学,上音乐课等的图片的幸运大表盘。
6.学生准备乒乓球拍,游泳圈或游泳帽,吃饭的碗筷,睡觉的床单。
教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1. Let’s sing
老师利用上节课所学的Let's sing部分和学生一起说唱:I have a face. I have three hands. I have no legs. But I can walk, I can run and stop, I can wake Jack up.(边唱边画)Can you guess, who am I? Who am I? Yes, my name is "clock". My name is "clock".
2.老师拿出钟表,利用Mike和 Alisha手偶进行对话引出本课话题 。
T: ---What time is it?
Alisha: ---It's eleven fifty.
T: ---Oh, school is over.
Mike: ---It's time to go home.(高兴的背起书包)
Alisha: ---Let's go home together.
Mike: ---All right.
Step 2 New Presentations
老师通过钟表和单词卡片讲解课文重点句型和词汇。
1.老师拨动钟表让学生复习上一课所学的问时间和说时间。在黑板上左边张贴对应的图片,并将重点的句子(红色标注It's time for ...写在中间,将It's time to...写在右边)
例如:
1)老师拨钟表到8点问
T: ---What time is it?
S: ---It's eight o'clock.
老师打开书本说:
T: ---Oh, It's eight o'clock, it's time for class.
老师再拨钟表到7:45问:
T: ---What time is it?
S: ---It's seven forty-five.
老师举起上学的图片问:
T: ---What's the time for?
S: It's time for school.
将上学的图片贴到黑板的左列并引导学生说: It's time to go to school.
老师再拨钟表到七点问:
T: ---What time is it?
S: ---It's seven o'clock.
老师举起起床的图片问What's the time for? 边将图片贴到黑板上边引导学生说: It's time to get up.
老师再拨钟表到9:00问:
T: ---What time is it?
S: ---It's nine o'clock.
老师举起上床睡觉的图片问What's the time for? 边将图片贴到黑板上边引导学生说: It's time to go to bed.
老师再拨钟表到7:30问:
T: ---What time is it?
S: It's seven thirty.
老师举起吃早饭的图片问What's the time for? 边将图片贴到黑板上边引导学生说It's time for breakfast. 强调说It's time to have breakfast. 
老师再拨钟表到12点问:
T: ---What time is it?
S: ---It's twelve o'clock.
老师举起吃午饭的图片问What's the time for? 边将图片贴到黑板上边引导学生说: It's time for lunch.强调说:It's time to have lunch.
老师再拨钟表到4:15问:
T: ---What time is it?
S: ---It's four fifteen.
老师举起打乒乓球的图片问What's the time for? 边将图片贴到黑板上边引导学生说: It's time to play ping-pang.
2.小结
It's time for后跟名词,It's time to后接动词短语。两个句型都表示是该干什么的时间了。

1.老师让学生两两自由组合,让一个学生来做吃饭,上床睡觉,起床,打乒乓球,回家,看电视,玩游戏,上学,上音乐课等动作,全班同学问What's the time ? 叫另一个同学猜并用It's time to... 句型来回答,在有限的时间里猜出最多的获最佳搭档奖。
