Step 1 Warming-up
1. Greeting
教师问学生What's your favourite season学生可能不知道season这个单词,那么教师及时给出spring, summer ,autumn,winter 4个单词,学生就能够听懂教师的问题了。学生回答完问题后,教师可以告诉学生My favourite season is summer. I like swimming in summer这时教师呈现出swimming的图片配以单词,引出本节课的内容。
2. Sing a song《We are all jumping》.
3. 复习What are....doing? 句型
Step 2 Presentation and Practice
引入新课。
PPT展示一张运动场上学生运动的图片,提问学生各种运动的单词。同时引出What's your favourite sport?句型。
板书课题Unit 10 I am very fast 学习并读课题,理解very fast的中文意思。
学习句型What's your favourite...?
4.结合上面的句型学习新单词:fast , arm , volleyball...
利用图片学习并操练短语:clever-----chess, long legs-----the high jump, strong-----kung fu Long arms------badminton
结合上面的短语,用What's your favourite...? 或 What do you like doing....?进行对话训练。
录音机播放对话2次,学生听、跟读对话。
老师带读对话。
学生以不同的形式读对话。

本活动复习表示运动项目的四个单词,建议教师采用图片与单词结合的方式,便于学生记忆。
Listen and number
本活动要求学生按照所听内容给图片排序。
在听之前,教师可以让学生说说每张图片表示的是哪种运动,为听做好准备。 听完之后,全班核对答案。教师再次播放录音,全班跟读。

1.Ask the students to practice the dialogue in pairs.

A: What's the weather like in spring? (=How is the weather in spring?)

以游戏的方式巩固所学的单词。

我非常的快。 fast此处是形容词,另外它也可以作副词,如:
I can run very fast.

Like后面要加动词的ing形式,如:
I like taking a bath。

best 最,最好,是good 的最高级形式 like....best 最喜欢……

写两组对话,以自己最喜爱的运动为题。
将新学的单词和词组抄写两遍。
