五、教学过程
(一)热身
猜谜语引出本课主题:television,学说和拼读television,介绍television的简写形式——TV
学生之间相互谈论自己喜爱的电视节目
(二)复习
复习第二单元关于北极生活的重点单词以及词汇
(三)新课教授
老师利用图片或课件出示“电视”,并提问:What’s it?形式回答:TV.
老师指出:We also call it television.引出本课主题television,形式理解并学说单词
老师在黑板上板书:TV is short for---television。学生理解并学说TV is short for television.
学生打开课本到第20页,独立阅读短文
老师提问,学生根据短文内容回答问题:What’s on TV? What do children usually like?
学生说句子:There are many different TV programmes on TV.学生重点理解单词different
(四)听录音
学生通过表格学习频率副词:usually, often, sometimes, never老师播放录音,学生跟读
学生两人一组,互问互答,并请同学展示
老师提问:Do you like watching TV? Let’s watch TV. Look, what’s on TV?老师引导学生观看电视,说句子:There are many different TV programmes.老师提问:What are they? Let’s listen.
老师播放录音,学生听录音指单词。
老师依次出示每一种节目的图片,教授节目单词:cartoon, sport programme, science fiction film, detective film, nature programme, romantic film.学生学说单词,老师在教授单词时可以向学生提出问题

老师播放录音,学生跟读单词
学生勾出自己喜爱的节目
(六)总结
老师让学生看黑板上的板书,与学生一起回顾本课所学的重要单词和句型

能用句型…likes?/?doesn’t?like…(电视节目),描述某人喜欢和不喜欢的电视节目

五、教学过程
(一)热身
玩一个“看电视”的游戏:将各类电视节目的画面图片从模型电视框中依次展示给学生,让学生猜猜是什么节目。学生猜的时候,老师用英语名称配音并重复几遍,学生会自然模仿(二)复习

学生打开课本到21页,观察3a中的图片。?
在听之前,老师可以通过以下听力预测活动来帮助学生更好地把握听力材料。
预测活动一:老师指导学生观察题目,预测听力内容, 老师提问:

Play a word chain game to warm up for the lesson. Encourage all the students to join into the activities of the lesson. Then ask students read the new words together。
Step3:Pre—reading
This task is to improve the students’ spoken English. The topic is “What do you usually do when you are free on vocation”? The students ask and answer the question pair by pair. Three or more things are required for each student’ answer.
