本模块以“Travel”为话题,以学习谈论自己或他人的旅行为主线,介绍了旅行中发生的事件。通过模块学习,学生将重点掌握定冠词与不定冠词的用法,并能运用所学知识介绍自己或他人的旅行经历。Unit 2 通过读、写训练,学习谈论旅行途中的经历。

Step1. Words
1.Teach the new words and phrases in the lesson with the Chinese explanation and exact pronunciation.
2.Show the Chinese meanings to let student answer English correspondents.
3.Encourage students to talk about the journey they have done with these new words.
Step2. Talking
1.Get students to talk about the trip and their attitudes towards trips.

1. elderly, 形容词,是委婉用语,意为“上了年纪的”,外国人一般不说old man而用elderly man代替,the elderly泛指老人。
elder指“年长的(尤指家庭成员之间)”,只能修饰人;在句中作定语,不能作表语;elder不能和than连用。 older既可修饰人,也可修饰物;在句中既可作定语,也可作表语;older可以和than连用。
2. have sth. ready 表示“把某物准备好”。
3. take?off表示“脱下”,其反义短语是put?on穿上。
take?off还可以表示“起飞”,其反义词是land降落。
4. as long as在这里引导条件状语从句,表示“只要”,也可以用so long as表达同样的意思。

2.Let students write the play of the topic above at class or after class and sort out the best and problematic writings, on which teacher can give detailed comments to the whole class.
