1. 基数词的构成
(1)1到12是各自独立的形式。
(2)从13~19均是以后缀-teen结尾,如14→fourteen,特殊拼写的有:thirteen,fifteen,eighteen。
(3)从20~90的整十基数词均是以后缀-ty结尾,特殊拼写的有:forty,fifty,eighty。

2. 基数词的特殊用法

5. 序数词的构成
(1)一般是由相应的基数词加后缀-th构成。如: four+-th→fourth;six+-th→sixth ;seven+-th→seventh;ten+-th→tenth 。
