【教学重点】
1. 能够正确地听、说、读一下单词和短语：do housework, keep…clean, go to bed, get up
2. 掌握重点单词和句型。掌握should, shouldn’t情态动词的用法。
【教学难点】
1. 运用所学的句子熟练对话。以日常交流为基础，让学生掌握英语语言，并在听说读写的训练中学到主动的语言，启发学生的英语思维能力
2. 够结合本课的核心句式，结合真实情景替换其中部分信息，用should和shouldn't谈论“应该”做什么，“不应该”做什么。

导入
本节课重点在于对home rules 的学习。教师在教学过程中可适当与school rules比较学习。
T: He is a good student. He listens to the teacher carefully. He hands in his homework on time. But, what is he doing in his home? Is he a good boy at home? Let’s see.

2. 教学步骤
1） 教师与学生一起讨论新学期的学习计划和课时安排，强调课堂纪律和学习要求，进一步提出一些新的要求并制定有关规则。
2） 把教学卡片图打乱顺序贴放在黑板上，让学生思考问题：Which one is right？ Which one is wrong？What should you do? 然后，让学生分组讨论后到黑板上将图片分类，把“正确的”做法和“错误的”做法分开，并加以说明。

3） 教师把You should go to bed early和单词early, go, home, shouldn't, mess, make a mess, room, keep, clean, set分别写在黑板上，领读单词和句子。
4） Text study. 教师通过介绍书上三幅图片，分别向同学介绍home rules. 哪些是正确的，哪些是错误的。并领读Home rules.加深学生对于单词短语的记忆。
5） 学生自由讨论自己在家里的行为。
3. 互动式练习
你演我猜。有请一位同学面对大家，其他人坐在位置上。老师展示图片，由坐在位置上的同学表演。让面对大家的学生猜一猜老师展示的内容。
4. 自由互动环节
Peter isn't a good boy at home．He really wants to be a good boy but he doesn't know what to do? Now let's help him, Ok? Tell him what he should do at home!
教师布置任务，请全班学生帮助Peter制定家庭守则。教师将彩色复印纸（内容见下图）发到每个小组，由小组成员相互讨论，然后分别写出各自的建议。

各组相互交流各自制定的家庭守则，然后评选出最佳条目，由教师写在黑板上，领读词组和句型。
趣味操练 （Practise）
1) 要求学生分组讨论制定家庭守则，包括应该做的事情和不许做的事情两方面的内容，选出一个人做记录。内容商定后，誊写在一张硬纸上，小组合作对其做一些修饰，最后把制定好的家庭守则展示给大家看，并使用We should .... We shouldn't .... 作介绍。
2) 进行家庭生活小品演出。鼓励学生将本课新学的句子用到小品表演中去。师生共同评选出最佳编剧、最佳导演和最佳演员。
扩展性活动（Add-activities）
制作英文版的 《小学生守则》：利用各种资源，寻求帮助，把小学生守则翻译成简单的英语。教师也可以根据需要，提前为学生提供尽可能多的动词或动词短语，例如：
