一、教材内容分析
本部分通过Gao Wei和他的同学们在操场上观看师生踢足球、打篮球、打排球的真实场景,引出要学习的目标语言They are playing football. The girls are playing volleyball. They’re playing basketball. What are you doing? We’re watching the games.通过师生之间、生生之间的对话,让学生能自主感知、模仿、学习和体验,并运用Let’s go and watch the games on the playground. How about the teachers? They’re playing very well.等功能语句提出来建议、进行询问、表达观点,在真实语境中进行交际。
二、学生情况分析
本课的授课对象是小学五年级学生,通过三四年级和五年级前五单元的学习,他们已经具备了一定的英语语言知识和听说读写技能。绝大数学生对英语有一定的感知能力,在学习中敢于表达,乐于合作。教学中重点是要创设情景,帮助学生理解并运用本节课的目标语言。
三、教学目标
知识目标:
1.能听懂、会说、认读本课对话。
2.能正确、流利地朗读对话,并能够按照角色进行简单的对话表演。
技能目标:
1.能按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读对话。
2.能在恰当情境中运用目标语言完成简单的交际。
3.能就在操场上观看师生体育活动的真实场景,提出自己的建议、进行询问、表达观点等。
4.能够通过同位活动或小组活动培养自主和合作学习的意识和行为。
四、教学重难点
教学重点:
1.能听懂、会说、认读本课对话;能正确、流利地朗读对话,并能够按照角色进行简单的对话表演。
2.能够听、说、读句型:They are playing football. The girls are playing volleyball. They’re playing basketball. What are you doing? We’re watching the games.
3.能在适当的情境中运用功能语句Let’s go and watch the games on the playground. How about the teachers? They’re playing very well.
教学难点:
1.能在适当的情境中运用目标语言:They are playing football. The girls are playing volleyball. They’re playing basketball. What are you doing? We’re watching the games.
2.能够在语境中理解、认知本课Let’s go and watch the games on the playground. How about the teachers? They’re playing very well.这些功能语句的意思。
五、教学步骤
1.热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)
师生共同进行头脑风暴游戏,教师将一些教材中人物正在做事情的图片(如打电话、洗衣服、唱歌、踢足球、打篮球、打排球、观看比赛等等)通过屏幕快速呈现给学生,引导学生细心观察、认真记忆,然后准确地使用现在进行时的句子描述他们所捕捉到的信息。
T: I have some pictures of our friends. What are they doing? Look carefully and say what you can see quickly.
Class: Miss Liu is making a call. Gao Wei is washing the clothes. Yang Ming is singing a song. Li Yan is playing the guitar. Peter is playing football. Kate is playing basketball. Lisa is playing volleyball. Tom is watching the game….
设计意图:在巩固复习已学知识的同时,激发学生的学习兴趣,为引入新知热身。
2.新授环节
教师创设操场上游戏的情境,并呈现文本图片,让学生观察。
TT: Who are they?
Ss: Gao Wei, Li Yan, Peter, students and the PE teacher.

设计意图:教师引导学生仔细观察图片,从图片中获取信息,进行初步预测,在此基础上自己主动获取人物及场景信息,为新课文的学习做铺垫。
教师播放视频,学生带着以下问题看视频:What are they doing?
Ss: They are watching the games.
设计意图:带着问题使学生有目的观看视频,同时整体感知文本。
让学生自己读对话,尝试提出问题,小组讨论。
T: What about others? What are they doing? Can you ask some questions?
S1: What are the boys doing?
S2: What are the girls doing?
S3: What are the teachers doing?
设计意图:让学生通过自读并小组讨论的方式,划出本对话的主要问题,实现学生的自主学习和小组合作。
播放录音,让学生在情境中进一步感知理解本课对话,并用对号标出问题的答案。
T: Let’s watch the video again. Try to find the answers. After watching, you can discuss with your friends. Take out your working sheets.(教师播放本课对话的录音。)
学生汇报听的结果,并通过阅读教材对话内容评价自己的听力水平。再通过跟读、分组读等方式开展为对话内容配音比赛或进行对话表演。

设计意图:让学生带着问题再次去感知对话的细节,培养他们有目的地获取信息、分析信息的能力;教师板书目标语言,帮助学生分解难点,突破重点,能准确地使用目标语言描述某人正在做某项运动。
针对本对话中的部分功能语句“Let’s go and watch the games on the playground. How about the teachers? They’re playing very well.”,引导学生大胆质疑。
T: Do you have any questions?

设计意图:引导学生大胆提问,主动质疑,并进行生生互教,生生互学,实现课堂上学生的主动学习和积极合作。
要求学生跟读模仿,教师随后做朗读指导,引导学生注意语音语调。
3.趣味操练
动作模拟,快速反应。
教师邀请六名学生(三个男生、三个女生)站在教室前方,开展男女模仿秀比赛。其他学生看到教师呈现的英文句子后,快速发出指令。六名学生进行动作模拟,动作准确、反应敏捷的队获胜。如:
T: Let’s play a game ‘Listen and act.’ I need tree boys and three girls. Who wants to come to the front to act? The other people look at the sentences and say them out. Go!
Class: The elephants are playing basketball.
Ss:(做大象打篮球的动作)

设计意图:全员参与,玩中练,让学生在趣味操练中不知不觉掌握新知。
教师请各组学生将他们获得的人物和动作小图片贴到相应的画有卧室、客厅、操场、音乐教室、美术教室、动物园、公园等场所的贴图板上,并组成符合逻辑的句子。这样既能评价出学生的学习情况,又将美化贴图板的活动作为学生小组合作、进行语言运用的新资源,巩固本课的目标语言和功能语句。如:
T: Show us your small cards, please. Now let’s play a game “Form sentences”. For example, if you have two pictures like me, girls, painting pictures, you can go to Art room Group and stick your pictures onto it, then say a sentence like the girls are painting pictures in the art room. Clear?
4.语言运用
教师创设以下情境:孩子们为即将召开的运动会在紧张训练,老师和拉拉队员们观看他们预赛,为他们助威。
在教师的引导下,学生六人一组,其中二人根据抽取的图片模拟训练场景,另外四人观看其他组同学正在模拟的运动项目,在词句的帮助下运用语言,描述训练场正在发生的事情。
Step1: 分成六人一组,明确分工。
Step2: 认真观看各组模拟场景,组织语言,编演对话。
Step3: 交流展示,小组评价。

拓展词汇:run, play ping-pong, sing, dance, prepare for the sports meet, etc.
5.小结评价
让学生汇报一下本节课都有哪些收获,老师做一下梳理总结。
6.作业布置
听音跟读对话。用几句话描述一下社团活动时操场上同学们的活动场景。

本课的重点句型是教师在让学生阅读对话找寻答案原句时,板书这些重点句型即可。

教学设计
一、教材分析
本单元是主要围绕“What?are?you?doing?”这一主题展开各种教学活动,并以这一主题引出现在进行时的一般疑问句,否定句以及特殊疑问句等语言功能。本单元旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。并让学生能在“做中学”(learning?by?doing),通过有限的课堂实践活动,注意观察别人的行动,能准确地用英语来表达。?
二、教学目标

?四、教学方法?
1、教法分析:
(1)现在进行时是学生刚刚接触的一种新的语法项目,而本单元的话题源自生活,立足这一点,我充分利用学生已有的知识和生活经验,创设生活化的真实情境(或半真实情境)引导学生在?运用语言中学习语言,然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言(为用而学,?在用中学,学了就用)。?
(2)开展多种类型的任务型活动,提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究性学习。?
2、学情分析:?
我们教学的对象是初一学生(以中等生为主),他们学习英语既感到好奇又担忧,希望能得到他人的肯定。因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来,有更多的机会来说英语,减少他们的恐惧感,通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体验到成功的喜悦。同时在阅读和书面表达中加以落实,提高他们综合运用语言的能力,使各层次的学生都有所收获。?
