Step?1.??Warming up
Let students talk about some sports in our school life.
Sing a song about sports.
Step 2 Presentation
Let students read this conversation following teacher :
A: Are you watching the high jump?
B: Yes, we are.
A: Are they doing the high jump?
B: No, they aren’t.
Send some cards to each group and ask student to describe what they are doing by conversation.
Write down the records in the chart.
e.g. A: Are they doing the long jump?
B: Yes, they are.
A: Is he running fast?
B: No, he isn’t.
Step?3 Practice
Each group choose one student to attend a competition. And students need to communicate with teacher directly. Students have to speak the content of the picture on teacher’s ppt.
After the match, every student need to give a grade to each group. And teacher need to collect the reflection and calculate the highest grade.
Teacher give a big present to the group that achieve the highest grade.
Step 4 Conclusion
Point out the key grammar and key words and sentences.
Ask students recite the key conversation and practice them with classmates.

呈现新课 (Presentation)
导入
热身活动中,涉及到各种田径运动。在导入的时候,教师可以模仿不同的田径动作,然后引导学生猜想,这样做是什么田径。
T: Good morning, boys and girls
Ss: Good morning.
T(教师边说边做动作): In class, we should do eye? Ss: look
T: ear? Ss: Listen T: mouth? Ss: say!
通过教师与学生的亲切问候,拉近教师与学生之间的距离。形成和谐的师生关系。教师还让学生明白上课要做到:眼到耳到口到,最重要的是心到。也同时涉及本单元主题。遵守上课规则。
2. 教学步骤
教师与学生一起讨论田径运动规则,明星,活跃课堂气氛
教师在黑板上画简笔画,使用中英文穿插介绍。[参考教学语言:Are you watching the long jump? Yes, we are.] 接着播放录音,让学生看图理解本课主要内容。
教师在黑板上画简笔画,表达出各种田径运动叫法等内容,让学生首先获得感性认识。
再次播放录音让学生边看图边听。听后回答上面的问题。[参考教学语言:Are you watching the long jump? Yes, we are.]
教师分别指着表示不同田径运动的图,介绍它们的用现在进行时表达。[Are you watching the long jump? Yes, we are.] 一边指图一边说英语,反复几遍,让学生理解意思。
放录音让学生边听边指图跟读。
教师指图让学生说出每个动作的中文。[参考教学语言:T: Are you watching the long jump?
S: Yes, I am ....]
3. 互动式练习
由教师带领学生进行互动式学习。主要是通过互动,让学生更好的掌握重点句子的用法,同事对于重点单词的记忆。教师可以通过游戏的形式与学生互动。
比如教师可以将教学卡片反贴在黑板上,让学生分组进行猜卡片比赛。全部都参与,每组学生只许猜一张图片,巩固复习先前学过的语言知识。建议个别卡片可重复使用,增强游戏的趣味性。
4. 自由互动环节
学生之间也可以通过游戏进行学习的巩固。
猜谜游戏。由一名学生表演田径动作,班上其余学生进行猜测。一般以每次2-3个动作为宜。例如:学生A表演打跳远,全班学生进行描述。老师选志愿者用现在进行时回答。。

(1) Pair work: 两个学生一组,分别拿着同样的卡片,指图进行对话练习。
(以卡片“正在进行的田径动作”为主题)
