六年级下英语第八模块第二课时教学设计
一、教材分析
本课是《英语》(新标准)(一年级起点)六年级下册第八模块的第二单元。重点是进一步强化现在进行时和一般将来时的运用,及巩固询问和说明原因的why 与because 的用法。教师注意给有困难的学生更多练习和巩固的机会,并帮助有能力的学生进行拓展。
二、学情分析
学生从小学一年级开始学习英语,进入六年级的学生已经有一定的英语学习基础,大部分学生养成了良好的英语学习习惯,对英语学习有一定的学习兴趣,有自己的学习策略。在第一单元学习的基础上,学生已经理解并运用why 和because询问原因并回答。学生在思考问题时还是不够全面,因此教师在教学中要鼓励学生认真对待任何事,善于观察、善于思考。

本单元任务是续写故事。教师应引导学生关注汉语对英语的迁移,多留意自己犯过的错误,尽量避免重复犯错

七、教学过程
(一)导入Warm-up and lead in (3分钟)
1. Greeting
2. Look at the picture (Activity 1)
T: Where is Sam? And where is Amy?
(Sam is in the wardrobe. Amy is in the bathtub.)
T: Why are they there?What are they doing?
S: Because they’re playing hide-and-seek.
Now look, listen and say.
【设计意图】让学生看图,根据看到的图片上的信息回答问,既激活在一单元里学习的语言,并引入今天的话题继续询问原因并能回答,还为本课接下来的学习做好铺垫。
(二)任务呈现和课文学习Task presentation and text learning (10分钟)
1. 交代任务:今天我们要继续学习用why 和because 询问事情的原因并回答原因。学习之后能够在日常生活中运用所学知识。发挥想象力续写小故事。
2. 出示课题Why are you wearing a hat?(板书句子)
让学生自由发挥回答Because it’s hot/windy.
3. Watch the CD-ROM and answer the questions.(PPT出示问题)
(1)Why is Lingling wearing a hat?
(Because it’s going to be hot.)
(2)What’s the weather like now?
(It’s windy now.)
4. Read the dialogue and answer the questions. (PPT)
Why is the boy wearing a raincoat?
(Because it’s going to rain.)
Why is Sam wearing a T-shirt?
(Because he’s going to play basketball.)
Why is Amy wearing a dress?
(Because she’s going to the theatre.)
【设计意图】活动2的内容简单,所以以最大化发挥学生自主学习能力的形式来引导学生进行学习,把对话以文本的形式出现,让学生自主阅读回答问题并小组合作探究,找出答案,在此过程中充分培养了学生的阅读理解能力。

(三)练习巩固 Practice (5分钟)
1. Read and find the answers. (Activity 5)
引导学生读每个问句,然后发散思维进行回答,选出最有趣的回答,然后再出示书中的回答。最后同桌再做问答练习。
2. Look and write. (Activity 3)(PPT)
出示第一幅图,引导学生使用why和because进行问答,然后仿照例句完成第二幅图。教师再给学生提供更多的图片,营造更多的语用语境,激活已有知识,进行复习巩固的同时又强化了本课的语言。
例如:Why is Daming playing the suona? Because he’s having a birthday party.
Why couldn’t Helen see or hear? Because…
Why do you like cats?
Why is she crying?
Why is she angry?
【设计意图】六年级已经是学生最后一轮复习小学阶段的知识了,新标准英语教材编写的一个首要特点就是采用螺旋形上升,实现语言的再现与复习,这就要求六年级的老师不仅仅是教本册书的内容,而是应该抓住语言的契合点,科学地复习前几册教材的内容,在这个活动中,教材只提供了一个语用语境来巩固,教师在设计时,把小学阶段所有接触过why和because的知识进行梳理、复习,帮助学生形成知识体系。
(四)语言运用 (10分钟)

【设计意图】读懂故事开头,让学生充分发挥合理的想象力,继续把故事讲完。利用小组合作的学习方式,共同完成小故事或者自己完成,在小组内交流。
