名词变单数复数教学设计
教学目标：正确进行可数名词的复数变形
教学重难点：掌握名词单复数的变形
教学方法：问答法、讲授法
教学过程：
Step1.Warming-up:
Hello，boys and girls.
Step2.Lead-in:
Show a picture and ask: What is this? ---It is a carrot.
Step3.Learn the new grammar.
The teacher shows the students two carrots and asks the students: What are these? Let the Ss read the sentence. The teacher tells the students the answer they are carrots.
Step4: Tell the rules of the plural forms of the nouns.
The teacher shows the two pictures on the PPT and asks the students ：what are these？
Step4: A task: use the rules of the plural forms of the nouns
1. Let the Ss write down the nouns according to the form.
2. Explain the nouns.
可数名词有单数、复数之分，表示“一个”时用单数，表示“多个”时用复数。如：a bird，a teacher，an apple，two birds，five teachers，eight apples等。
（二）可数名词复数的构成
1.一般情况下，在单数名词的后面加-s构成。如：game-games，boy-boys等。
2.以s、x、sh、ch结尾的单数名词变复数，在词尾加-es构成。如：box-boxes，bus-buses，peach-peaches，dish-dishes。
3.以o结尾，表示有生命的事物的单数名词变复数加-es；表示没有生命的事物的单数名词变复数加-s。如：potato-potatoes，tomato-tomatoes，photo-photos，piano-pianos等。
4.以辅音字母加y结尾的单数名词变复数，将y改成i后再加-es。如：factory-factories，story-stories，family-families。
5.以f或fe结尾的单数名词变复数，将f或fe改成v,然后再加-es。如：leaf-leaves，life-lives，knife-knives等。
6.名词单数变复数，除了有规则可循的变化之外，还有一部分的变化是不规则的，我们将这部分名词的变化叫做不规则变化。这些词有：goose-geese，foot-feet，tooth-teeth，man-men，woman-women，mouse-mice，sheep-sheep，deer-deer，fish-fish，child-children，ox-oxen，chinese-chinese, englishman-englishmen等
不规则变化：
1.?单数、复数形式相同
如：deer—deer，sheep—sheep，fish—fish，Chinese—Chinese，people—people。
2.?改变单数名词中的元音字母
如：foot—feet，man—men ，tooth—teeth，woman—women。
3.?含有man，woman的复合名词的变化
如：Englishman—Englishmen，policewoman—policewomen，Frenchwoman— Frenchwomen
4.?其他变化
如：child—children ，mouse—mice。

3. How many horses do you have? 解析：划线部分是数字，所以用How many提问，后紧跟horses，再加一般疑问句do you have。
4. What are those? 解析：划线部分是名词，所以用what提问，把are提前，后加those构成问句。
5. Are those potatoes? 解析：句中有be动词，变一般疑问句把be动词提前即可。 肯定回答Yes, they are. 否定回答： No, they aren’t.
