一、教学目标

3. 学生能够通过本话题的学习,培养热爱家乡和自己居住的社区的积极情感,以及热情、礼貌待人、乐于助人的态度。

四、教学步骤
1. 热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision)
课件呈现这节课相关的短语和图片,学生快速说出
Community, building, home, park, bank, bookshop
设计意图:复习旧知,铺垫新知,既营造了英语学习氛围,拉近师生距离,也为本课学习新语言做了铺垫。
2. 新课呈现(Presentation)
(1)问题引入,启发疑问
教师出示本课PPT,就图片和学生讨论,在师生、生生之间的交流中熟悉本课情境,为后续学习打下基础。
My name is Susan. Look at this picture of my community. Let me introduce my community.
(2)观看图片,整体感知,解答疑问
学生根据图片的内容,回答问题:
T: Where is Susan’s community?
S: There are many buildings in it.
T: There is a park near my home and there is a river behind the park.
PPT中划出关键句,教师板书,并提问:
T: What’s in the centre of the community?
S: There is a school!
同样PPT中划出关键句,教师板书,并通过图片讲解.
设计意图:学生带着教师提问来阅读,整体感知课文内容。整体感知对话是对话教学的策略之一,此方法能够避免学生支离破碎地学习和理解内容。让学生对本课内容先有一个整体了解。
(3)角色扮演,根据课文内容,表演对话
学生三人一小组,分角色表演本课对话。
3. 趣味操练(Practice)
(1)利用本课地图,进行地图上其他地方的问路和指路的问答,如bookshop, park, school等,对话可以根据本课内容编演。
(2)教师指导学生完成《活动手册》中的相关内容,并进行评价。
4. 拓展活动(Production)
教师交代活动情境:你在你家小区门口遇上一个外国友人,简单交流之后,他得知你的学校非常好,想来你的学校参观,请你告诉他路线,并画成简图。比一比谁指的路线最清晰、最快捷,语言表达最完整,两人一小组进行情景表演。
设计意图:让学生能够学以致用,把本课所学内容应用到实际生活当中。
5. 小结(summary)
T: What have you got in this class?
引导学生从句型、情感态度、等方面总结,告诉学生单词是由字母组成的。
设计意图:通过总结让学生总结收获,进一步帮助学生巩固所学,培养孩子归纳、梳理和总结的能力。

一、教材分析
???? 本部分通过Susan介绍自己居住的小区场景的创设,引导出要学习的目标语言There be句型;能够借助图片和所学单词与句型,在适当情境中运用There be句型;通过师生、生生之间的阅读与讨论,学生自主感知、模仿、理解和体验,What’s in the centre of the community? On the main road is a bank. I can see everything on my way to school.等表示询问、描述的功能语句,从而在真实语境中进行交际。
二、学情分析
(1)学生情况:本班男女生人数均衡。学生总体反映出纯朴、可爱、调皮的性格。其中男生的思维能力比较强,但学习上缺少耐心与细心,女生相对男生来说学习更加认真,但分析能力却不及男生。?
?(2)学生成绩:大部分学生有较好的学习习惯,知道认真复习,但毕竟小学生还是缺少自制力,因此在学习成绩上两极分化依然存在,优秀率很难突破80%。??
(3)学习习惯:部分学生主动学习的行为,深得老师赞赏。比较喜欢上英语课,学习热情也很高,并喜欢与老师友好相处,同学之间、师生之间常在一起交流学习体会。但仍有少部分学生学习懒散、学习习惯差,如:粗心大意、书写不认真,不愿思考问题,上课开小差,依赖老师讲解,依赖同学的帮助,作业喜欢与同学对题。
三、教学目标
1. 能够借助图片和所学句型在适当的语言环境中初步运用There be句型.
2. 能够听、说、认、读三会单词: hospital, bank, hotel?等词汇
3. 能够听、说、读、写四会单词:?river, near, beside, between, vegetable, turn right, on the left?等词汇和短语及句子There is a park near my home。

七、教学设计
(一)Warm-up?:
将提前打印好的bank, hospital, school, hotel, supermarket, bookshop?相关图片一一展示给学生们,展示过程中对已学单词进行复习,并引入到本节课的教学中。

(二)Presentation:

Step 1 Warm-up
Guessing game: where am I?
在学生面前做无声表演,请学生猜猜看我在哪里?给答对者发出相应卡片,为后面做准备。(bank, hospital, school, hotel, supermarket, park)
Step 2 The new words:
1. Look at the new word cards ask some one try to read aloud.
2. If he/she can’t read it well, others or the teacher help them.
3. Read and make up sentences with some of them.
Step 3 Presentation
①介绍新同学,Susan。引导学生进入情境。
T: Look at our new friend, Susan. She moved to her new home last week. What’s near her home?
出示课文图片,整体呈现Susan居住的小区环境,并说this is a community.
②教师利用图片进行整体介绍。
③回顾小区设施,突破重点句型。
引导学生将设施逐一回顾,并在黑板上用小图画出简单地图,同时突破重点句型there is/are .... near/behind/beside/across...,帮助学生熟悉There be 句型和表方位的介词。

there be 句型基本情况
1. 定义:There be句型表示某处存在某物或某人。
2. 结构:
(1) There is +单数可数名词/不可数名词+ 地点状语.
(2) There are +复数名词+地点状语.
注意:there是引导词,在句中不充当任何成分,翻译时也不必译出。句子的主语是某人或某物,谓语动词be要与主语(某人或某物)的数保持一致。当主语是两个或两个以上的名词时,谓语动词要与跟它最近的那个名词一致。如:
① There is a bird in the tree. 树上有一只鸟。
② There is a teacher and many students in our classroom.我们教室里有一位老师和许多学生。
③ There are two boys and a girl under the tree. 树下有两个男孩,一个女孩。
