掌握有关的描述地址方位的用语以及相应的词汇
  语言点:本课文有两个要点,值得注意:
  1.There be是个常用句型,其中的there 是主语,be是系动词。类似的有there
  stands/exists …
  2.There are a few tall buildings near the park. I live in a flat in one of those
  buildings.
  公园附近又一些高楼大厦,我就住在这些高楼之一的一套公寓里。
  这是两个较为复杂的简单句, near the park 是在公园附近,one of those
buildings是那高楼中的一栋。

四、教学过程 1)??复习:由听音,做动作复习左、右,再延伸到向左转,向右转,在情景中让学生理解体会。并教学短语turn?right?/?left 2)??导入新课: a.?板书简笔画,复习巩固旧单词的同时为新课做准备。 b.?根据黑板上的指示图,让学生用前面学过的方位词来描述所处位置。 3)??呈现新知: a.?将不同的街道用不同的颜色标示出来,呈现:Where?is?the?post?office??It?is?in?Green?Street.?学生问答操练重点句型。 b.?播放Where?is?the?post?office??歌曲,在听唱中巩固句型“Where?is?the?…??” c.?呈现另一种回答方式。由教师边做边说

Lesson 10教学设计
一、教学目标:
1.通过这两节课的学习,使学生熟练掌握指路和问路的用语。
2.能够清楚的描述地点方位。
二、教学重点与难点:
  1.重点词汇:neighborhood, bookshop, next to, go straight, turn left, turn right,
  grocery shop
  2.重要句型 1) When you see…,turn left/turn right. Where is …? You will see a green building on the left.
  3.语法 :where is the bookshop?特殊疑问句
  4.指路的语:Go straight along this road. When you get to the main street, turn left. go straight along that street. you will see a green building on the left. the bookshop is in it…
三、课前准备:
  1.准备若干张带有邮局,银行,便利店,书店,饭店,衣服店的卡片
  2.模仿老人的衣物饰品。
  3. 教材相配套的教学磁带和课件。
四、教学过程:
  1.Warming-up and revision.
  老师和学生互相问好,然后老师引导学生热身复习前几课学的词汇bank, park, post office, Hairdresser等
  2.Just read and speak
  1).老师先放一遍录音带,然后自己领读。
  2)鼓励两位同学自愿上台扮演Lily和Lisa进行对话,会话完后,纠正学生会话时的错误,但要做出鼓励性的评价,也可让学生进行自我发挥,不必拘泥于课本内容的句式和词汇,增强学生创新与灵活运用的能力。
  3.Just practice.
  把学生分为两两一组进行会话练习,选表现好的上台表演会话,老师再向其他学生说出这些同学表现好的地方和不妥的地方,让学生能取长补短,共同提高进步。
  4.Just write.
  让学生根据自家周围情况,写出邮局,银行,饭店等的具体方位,然后让学生间自行讨论交流,老师最后做出点评。
  5.Let’s play.
  把学生分组,组内一人扮演老人问路,一人根据图上所示给老人指路。创造特设情景,让学生在轻松愉快的情况下灵活运用所学知识。老师最后根据学生运用句子的灵活和熟练情况,给予表现好的学生奖励。(对话可参照书上,也可让学生自行发挥)
  6.Let’s read and chant
  老师先放磁带,让学生仔细聆听,然后再由老师领唱。
五、家庭作业
  写出学过的含有igh的 词汇,下次带到课堂上,看哪位学生写的多。

①Look at the word cards read aloud and make up sentences with some of them.
②Ask and answer in pairs:
A: How can I get your home form here?

Step 3 Presentation
①T: Every day we can get a lot of people's help, such as our mothers', fathers', teachers', friends' and some other people's help. But today we'll learn to be volunteers to help people on the street. Do you want to do it?
Ss: Yes, I want to help them.
②图片创设情境整体输出短语,语速放慢并配以指示动作,方便学生理解感知。
T: Yang Ming wants to go to Xinhua Bookshop. Where is it?
S: Go down this street. Turn right at the traffic lights. The bookshop is on the left. He must cross the street. He can get to the bookshop.
③再次指示,引导学生尝试去说,适时的给予单词发音的指导和纠正。
④出示DVD课件,请学生认真听并大致找出关键处(例如:place, how long)
⑤再次播放课件,让学生熟悉录音材料。可以带上如下问题去听第二遍。
T: What's in the picture? Who are the girls? What are they talking about? Have a guess. 听完后尝试回答,并集体讨论。
⑥第三次播放,回答下面的问题。
Q1: Who is new in the community?
Q2: When did Lisa move here?
Q3: Where is Lisa going?

Step 4 Grammar
There be 句型的句型转换——特殊疑问句
1)对主语提问:当主语是人的时候,则用who 引导,当主语是物的时候,则用what 引导。注意:无论原句的主语是单数还是复数,对之提问时一般都用be的单数形式(回答时却要根据实际情况来决定)。如:
There are many things over there.
→What's over there?
There is a little girl in the room.
→Who is in the room?
对地点状语提问:则用where 引导。如:
There is a computer on the desk.
→ Where is the computer?
There are four children on the playground.
→Where are the four children?
3)对数量提问,一般有两种句型结构:
How many+复数名词+are there+介词短语?
How much+不可数名词+is there+介词短语?

①Ask some one recite the dialogue in lesson 10.
②Look at the pictures ask and answer in pairs.
A: Can you tell me which is the way to…?
B: Go straight along... When you see... turn... and then...
