Step 1 Revision
T: This is a map of the world. Today we are going to visit Britain, Canada, Australia and America.
出示单词及四个国家的单词及国旗图片:map, world, Britain, Australia, America, Canada.
Step 2 Presentation
1) T: There are many famous places in these countries. OK, the first place to go is London.
2)学习新词London and Big Ban
T: London is a beautiful city of Britain. Big Ban is in London. (介绍大本钟,并展示图片) OK, read after me.
3)学习新词Tower Bridge
T: Tower Bridge is also in London. (介绍伦敦塔桥,并展示图片) OK, read after me. London is so beautiful! I would like to go to London.
4)学习新词Sydney and Sydney Opera House

Step 3 Grammar
be going to的同义句:be going to = will
I am going to go swimming tomorrow(明天). = I will go swimming tomorrow.
但是特别注意:be going to与will两者都可表示将要发生的事、将要去做某事,但它们有如下几点区别: ①be going to 表示近期、眼下就要发生的事情,will 表示的将来时间则较远一些,如:
He is going to write a letter tonight.
He will write a book one day. ②be going to 表示根据主观判断将来肯定发生的事情,will表示客观上将来势必发生的事情。
He is seriously ill. He is going to die. He will be twenty years old. ③be going to 含有“计划,准备”的意思,而 will 则没有这个意思,如: She is going to lend us her book. He will be here in half an hour. 现在口语书面语言在互相交织的今天,从不严格的语法角度,二者互换也是可以接受的。
④在含有条件状语从句的主从复合句中,主句一般不用be going to,而常用will(第一人称用shall)。如: The football match will be put off if it rains tomorrow.
如果明天下雨,足球赛将被推迟举行。
