英语的听、说、读、写四种基本能力中，听排在第一，听是获得语言信息的最主要的途径，只有听得正确，才能读得流畅，说得流利，所以，英语听力训练是中小学英语学习的一个重要环节。二、听力题的解题策略
1. 学会预测
预测是听力理解过程中的重要一环。要求学生在做听力题之前，根据图片进行预测，根据所听的主题句进行预测，根据谈话人的身份、谈话地点等进行预测，从而快速地排除一些错误选项或将答案锁定在一定范围内。
2. 抓住要点
即在听录音的过程中，要注意抓住主要内容和关键词眼，避开无关内容，而集中注意力于一些特定的信息，诸如特定的人物、数字、颜色、时间、场合、事件等，这样才能快速有效地抓住问题的正确答案。 3. 认真答题
如果录音材料播放两遍的话，通常选择听第二遍时来答题。听第一遍录音时，要做的主要工作是听清大意和抓住并记录要点，如果第一遍没听清，可以在听第二遍时全力以赴，集中精力捕捉相关信息，同时迅速答题。同时在整个录音播放结束之后，不要急于做笔试部分的题目，而应该凭着刚刚听到的所有信息的短暂记忆，对整个听力部分进行一次全面的检查，及时修正错误的答案。三、听力训练中应注意的问题
听力水平的提高是一个循序渐进、日积月累的过程，要靠平时坚持不断地进行听力训练。在平时的听力训练中，要注意以下问题：
1. 强度的调控
听力训练是一种强化教学，在整个听力过程中，注意力和精神都处于高度紧张状态。这种状态如果持续太久，则会产生疲劳。因此必须控制时间，一般一次听力的时间不超过15分钟。 2．材料的选择
听力材料的难易程度要适合学生的听力水平，太容易，失去了训练的意义；太难，听不懂，就会失去信心和兴趣。其次，听力材料不宜太长，太长的容易分散注意力，欲速则不达。再次，要听不同人士的朗读材料，以便适应不同的英语口音。考点精析考点1 考查对词汇读音的辨别
