1.Don' arrive late for class.上课不要迟到。
1)此句为祈使句的否定形式,即在句中谓语动词前加“Don’t”。
2）arrive是不及物动词，意为“到达，抵达”，
后接介in，即“arrive in”表示到达大地方，接介词at，即“ arrive at”表示到达小地点。与reach, get to 意思相近。
arrive late for=be late for迟到
2．辨析listen与hear
listen强调听的动作，意为“听”。后面接宾
语时，必须加介词to;强调听的结果，意为
“听到”，后面直接跟宾语。
eg：Don’t listen to the music in
the classroom。不要在教室听音乐。
I can hear a girl singing.我能听到一个女孩在唱歌。
3.wear 的用法
wear v.穿着、戴着，其后接名词，如服装、眼镜、首饰等，表示一种状态。
eg： He wears a green jacket.
他穿着一件绿色的夹克衫。
4．have to 的用法
表示客观要求，强迫被迫性，含有不情愿的意思，常译为“必须，不得不”，其后接动词原形。have to 可用于多种时态，有多种变化形式。其具体用法如下：
have to 的肯定式
在一般现在时态中，第三人称用has to,其他人称用have to
have to 的否定式
have to 的否定式是在have to前加don’t或doesn’t,表示“不必，没有必要”，相当于needn’t
3） have to 的一般疑问句式
have to 的一般疑问句要借助于助动词do或does 来构成。
辨析have to 与must
have to与must都有“必须”的意思,但在用法上有区别：have to 表示客观需要，要求某人不得不或必须去干某事。
eg：My mother is ill, I have to look after my sister at home.
我妈妈病了，我必须在家照看我妹妹。
2）must 表示说话人的主观看法，即主观上的必要性。
eg：We must study hard.
我们必须努力学习。

4.辨析too many, too much与much too

too much 的意思也是“太多”，其中心词是much,用法与much相同, 用来修饰不可数名词。

巧记“看”的用法

辨析take 与bring

We have different kinds of rules in our classroom. As a student we must follow them. Students can not bring food into the classroom because our classroom is a place for us to study. The food may make our classroom dirty. And we can't study well when one is eating. Don't run or fight in the classroom.
