教学重点：
1.单词：light broken heavy pocket 及在句型中的使用。
2.句型：It’s big and light. This_____(n.) is_____(adj.)
教学难点：
学会用英语描述事物的特征。
二、教学过程
（一）、Warming up
（1）Greeting
（2）Chant
T: First, let’s chant together. Stand up! Clap your hands!? ?Follow me!

出示课前准备的chant,让学生一边拍手，一边听节奏跟老师做动作
学生通过歌谣的形式复习了形容词，通过描述气球的大小以及颜色，利用旧知导入了新知，为学习It’s?…做好了铺垫。
（二）.Leading in
老师分别出示各种颜色的气球，请学生一一说出气球的颜色。
T：Look at these beautiful balloons.
T: What colour is it?
Ss: It’s?red?
Ss: It’s?blue.
Ss: It’s?orange.
Ss: It’s?green.
（三）. Learning
T：OK！Boys and girls, today, we will learn a new lesson. module5 unit1?
It’s?big?and?light.(板书课题)1、教师疑惑的问：“light, what does mean light?” (此时教师拿起一个气球抛起边抛边说)：it’s light ,it’s very light.
Can you guess?
S：轻的。
T：You’re so clever.(教师出示单词卡片，操练)
2、教师边搬桌子，边做出费劲的表情，问：T：Is it?light?
S: No
T: Yes, it’s heavy. Whole class, try it.
(教师出示单词卡片，中英文都展示给学生，操练)
3.T: Look at the balloon. It’s big and light.(出示气球，然后扎破) T: But it’s broken.(教师做出遗憾的表情)
T: Broken.(出示单词卡)
4.T:Where’s my balloon?(放入口袋，焦急的边找边询问)?
T: Oh！It’s in my pocket.(教师展示自己的口袋，同时出示单词卡片)（1）、教师领读两次，学生跟读，拼读并板书。（2）、教师数自己的口袋，并说I’ve got two pockets. One, two. How many pockets do you have??让学生数自己的口袋。（3）、请个别学生起来读，让其他同学跟读。…?
5、老师出示单词卡，请学生齐读。
Light light It’s light.
Heavy heavy It’s heavy.
Broken broken It’s broken.
6、课文教学
（1）T: My bag is broken. Lingling’s bag is broken, too. Listen to the tape. Let’s see what happen？Turn to P18.(第一遍听录音)
（听录音要求：look and listen）
(2) 多媒体课件出示问题，播放第二遍录音，并让学生带着问题跟读。
(3)answer these questions:（多媒体课件出示问题答案）
（四）呈现与操练：
T: What did Lingling and Ms Smart buy?
Ss: Bag!
T: Yes, they bought a bag.
T: How is the black one?
Ss: It’s big. It’s heavy.
T: (出示幻灯片)This black bag is nice. It’s big. But it’s heavy
T: How is the green one?
Ss: Light. It’s small.
T: (出示幻灯片)This green one is light. And it’s got two pockets. But it’s small.(参照以上读句子)
T: How is the blue one?
Ss: It’s big and light.
