Unit 1 Were you at home yesterday?
【教学目标】
1、知识目标:能听、说、认读本课的重点单词:yesterday、out,well,thanks, sun, lesson;能运用Were you… yesterday? Was it…yesterday这类语句谈论过去事物或人物的特征和状态。
2、能力目标:培养学生合理运用“was, were”对过去事物或人物的特征和状态提问的能力;能根据设计的场景运用Were you… yesterday?询问事物过去的特征和状态。
3、情感目标:培养学生多关心他人的良好习惯。
【学情分析】
学生学习英语有一段时间了,具备了一定的英语口语表达基础,在本册Module5的训练基础上,学生已经掌握了”be"结构的“一般过去时陈述句的表达形式,为本模块学习”be"结构“的”一般过去时”一般疑问句提供了有效帮助,为学生运用“waswere"谈论过去的事情成为可能。
【重点难点】
教学重点:听懂并会运用句型Wereyou…?Wasit…?进行问答。
教学难点:培养学生合理运用“was,were”对过去事物或人物的特征和状态提问的能力。
【教学思路】
四年级的学生,虽然有一年的英语基础,可是在自由表达方面还存在困难,我从学生的知识和生活环境出发多方面考虑,在教学环节设计上由易到难,环环相扣,层层递进,让学生在潜移默化中轻松掌握和巩固知识以及文化技能。
【教学方法】
听说法,情景教学法,任务教学法。
【教学过程】
Step 1: Warm-up
1.Sing a song《How are you?》

T: Hello, ΧΧ. How are you?
S: I’m fine, thank you. And how are you?
T: I’m very well. Thanks. (T拿出well,thanks的卡片教授well,thanks)

T: What is the weather like? Is it cold today?(做冷的动作)
S:No, it isn’t. It’s sunny.
T:Yes, it’s sunny today. Was it hot yesterday?(引出生词yesterday并教学)
3.Game:猜地点(用遮挡图片的方式猜说地点,复习地点词)
T: Let’s play a game. Stand up and say the words as quickly as you can!
分组:zoo, school, park, cinema
Step 2: Presentation
Lead in
出示动画1的小男孩。
T:Look at the boy. He was out yesterday. Where was he? Do you know? Let’swatch and listen.
Watch the video.(观看完动画,师询问个别生:Was he at school? Was he at the zoo?)
Listen and chant.(跟读动画1韵句,并相机教out)
2.The boy was at out yesterday. How about you? Were you at home yesterday?板书并带读课题:Were you at home yesterday?
通过师生交谈引出Yes, I was. No, I wasn’t.
3.猜猜老师昨天在哪里。
T: Where was Miss Yan yesterday? Can you guess?(引导生用新句型Were you…yesterday?猜)
3.课文学习
电话铃声响起,课件出示Tom和grandma打电话的情境。
T: Who are they? Yes, they are Tom and his grandma. They are on the phone now. Where was grandma? Was she at home yesterday? Let’s watch and listen!
Watch and listen, then choose the best answer:
Was Grandma at home yesterday?
A.Yes, she was. B. No, she wasn’t.
Check the answer.
T:Yes, you got it. She was out with grandpa for Chinese lesson.(相机教授lesson)

Step 4: Consolidation
1、Group work小记者采访(2ms)
小组长充当小记者根据情景用所学句型采访组内成员。
