三、学习目标

2. 语言技能目标:
1)能听懂谈论未来的简单对话,能判断未来事实。
2)能用will表达自己对未来的想象。
3)能够读懂简单的描写未来的短文,掌握短文通篇大意,并学习使用上下文猜测词义的学习方法。
4)能用will表达自己对未来的预测和想象,能用so表达较为复杂的概念。
3. 情感目标:通过对未来美好的憧憬,培养积极乐观的精神。
四、教材分析
外研七年级英语下册Module 4 Life in the future,本模块以学校为题材,要求学生想象未来学校的样子,通过对未来学校的描述,学习和掌握时态—— 一般将来时。
本模块的主要语法是一般将来时,教学重点是通过对未来学校的想象和描述,重点学习本模块中出现的重点词汇、短语、固定搭配和句型。
课前准备一些先进的学校设施的图片和资料,让学生在warming up时讨论和观看。围绕未来学校和未来生活这一话题展开听说读写的全面训练,使学生熟悉一般将来时并逐步开始这个时态。
五、教学方法
以说为主要教学方式,以讨论为主要方法,通过同桌讨论和小组以及全班讨论,让每个学生充分练习口语和说的能力,并将听说读写有机地贯穿一体。设立一些语言环境,结合自己或他人的旅游经历以及旅游景点,最后一起学习重难点,为突破重难点做一些课堂和课后的练习。

1. Will students need computers at school?
学生在学生需要电脑吗?
need意为“需要”,既可用作实义动词, 也可用作情态动词。
need用作实义动词时, 它的单数第三人称形式为needs, 后面可跟名词、代词、带to的不定式等作宾语。如:
He ______________ hard.
他需要努力工作。

那个男孩不需要帮助。

这本书很有用。我们需要它。

need用作情态动词时,后面跟动词原形。如:

2. Will schools be different in the future, Daming?
in the future “将来”,表示未来,常用于将来时
in future “今后”,表示从今以后
e.g. I don’t know what will happen in the future. 我不知道将来会发生什么事。

3. In twenty year’s time, maybe there won’t be any schools!
二十年之后,也许一所学校都没有了!
“in + 一段时间”表示“一段时间之后”,常用于将来时。可以用 how soon 来提问。如:
— How soon will you be back? 你多久回来?
— In a week. 一个月之后。
4. They can ask their teachers questions by Internet, telephone or email.
他们可以通过互联网、电话或电子邮件向 老师提问。
by表示方式,意思是“用……,靠……,通过……”。如:
Send it by air mail. 用航空邮件寄吧。
They want to travel by train. 他们想坐火车旅行。
5. Computer won’t be able to do that. 计算机无法胜任。
be able to的意思是“能够,会,胜任”。相当于can, 但是可以用于更多的时态中。如:
I’m able to swim. = I can swim.
我会游泳。
They will be able to tell you the news soon.
= They can tell you the news soon. 他们很快就能告诉你这个消息了。
Mary was able to ride a bike when she’s five.
玛丽5岁时就会骑车了。
【运用】 根据括号内所给提示将下列汉语句子翻译成英语。

6. Teachers won’t use chalk on a blackboard and students won’t use pen and paper, or erasers any more!
老师们将不再用粉笔在黑板上写字,学生们也将不再使用钢笔、纸或橡皮!
not ... any more的意思是“不再”。如:
He isn’t a child any more.
他不再是小孩子了。
I won’t do that any more.
我再也不那样做了。

一般将来时will
观察下面的例子,然后补全结论部分中所缺的内容。

【结论】
will是助动词,表示“______________”, 它与后面的动词原形一起可以表示一般将来时态,用来描述未来的事情或表达对将来的预测等。助动词will _____(有 / 无)人称和数的变化,缩略形式为“’ll”,否定形式是will not(可缩略为________)。

在含will的肯定句中,will后加not可构成否定句;将will提到句首构成一般疑问句,肯定回答为“Yes, 主语+will.”,否定回答为“No, 主语+won’t.”。
will用于there be句型中表示将要存在的状态,常用结构为There will be ...。
