【教学内容分析】
本模块以出行旅游为话题。Unit 1 中的对话是通过读地图来呈现指路及表明具体位置的语言表达方式。通过本单元的听说活动，给学生提供充足的体验和运用语言的机会。
【学情分析】
学生具有一定的英语基础，学习热情高，表现欲强，能积极参与到课堂中。而且相互之间能够很好地利用小组进行合作交流。但是书上内容对大多数人来说较为简单，因此很有必要补充一些相关知识。

Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 Presentation
1. Show some pictures and learn the new words.
2. Find and say. The teacher shows pictures of direction prepositions, and the students say the right words.

1. Match the words from the box with the pictures

Step 6 Language points
1. the way to Wangfujing Dajie
此短语意为“去王府井大街的路”, 其中to为介词。
其结构是: 介词结构“to+名词”作定语
本模块中的the way to the National Stadium也是同样用法, 类似的用法还有a guidebook
about Beijing等。
【运用】
根据汉语意思完成英语句子，每空一词。

2. along 作介词时，意为“沿着”。
e.g. Go along the road and you’ll see it.
3. across 和 cross
1) across为介词，表示(在表面)越过，横穿” ；cross为动词，意为“穿过, 横穿”。
2) across必须与动词连用。cross不能与动词连用。如：run across
4. turn left / right 向左转/右转
turn在此处作动词用, 意为“使改变方向”。
如: Walk along the street and turn left when you see a park.
turn 还可以作名词, 意为“顺序；次序”。
如: John, it’s your turn to clean the classroom today.
5. take the Underground
此短语意为“乘地铁”, 其中take意为“乘坐”， 本模块中的take a bus和take
a taxi也是同样用法。
“by+名词”结构也可表示“乘坐某种交通工具”，我们学过的有by bike, by bus, by boat和by
plane等。

1. in front of和in the front of 都指“在……前面”，但含义有区别。
in front of 在某范围以外的前面

2. behind 在……后面
e.g. John sits behind his grandmother.
3. on the left 在左边
on the right 在右边
e.g. In Hong Kong, people drive on the left.

5. between 在……(两者)之间，常与and搭配使用，between ... and ...
