Unit 1 We laughed a lot.
【知识目标】
1. 全体学生能理解词汇laugh, wore, letter, theatre, women, actor, told, joke, after, show, restaurant, ready。
2. 全体学生能运用词汇wore, women, told, after；部分学生能够运用词汇laugh, letter, theatre, actor, joke, show, restaurant, ready。
【能力目标】
全体学生能运用“We laughed a lot.”这类语句来谈论过去发生的事情。
【情感目标】
礼貌待人，乐于与同学、朋友交流自己的学习生活。
【学习策略】
利用书信的形式与人积极合作与交流。

掌握中西方信件书写格式的差异，了解并学习不同国家的文化。
【学情分析】
本模块的学习重点是复习和巩固行为动词一般过去时的用法，谈论过去发生的事情。其实从四年级下册的第五模块开始，学生就已经开始接触一般过去时了，已经能理解并能初步运用一般过去时来询问和谈论一些过去的行为或活动。因此可以通过活动和游戏的设计帮助基础较薄弱的学生巩固、强化行为动词一般过去式的用法。
【教学重难点】
重点：
复习和巩固行为动词一般过去时的用法，谈论过去发生的事情。
难点：
能正确书写一般过去时的语句，熟练掌握不规则动词形式的变化。
【课前准备】
1.单词卡片/时间展示图；
2.教学光盘或其他录音机设备；
3.教学课件。
【教学过程】
Step 1：Warmup and lead in?

T: This lesson we’ll review the past tense. After learning we’ll talk about what you did last week to your partner.
Step 3：TextLearning
1. Look at a picture of Daming in M9U1 and answer the question. (PPT)
What is Daming doing?
Who wrote this letter to Daming ?
T: How do you know the answer? （PPT）
One more question: Where was this letter from? (PPT)
2. Talk about the differences between Chinese letter and English letter.
3. Read the letter and answer the questions, then talk about in groups.
Where did they go?
What did they see ? 　
What did they eat ?（PPT出示）
【设计意图】学生自主阅读、小组合作交流，讨论解决阅读中的问题，培养学生小组合作意识，达到“兵帮兵，兵强兵”的目的。
4. Answer the questions and teach the words and sentences.（PPT出示）

Show the picture and card to teach theatre (PPT).
Pay attention to the pronunciation of ea.
Read the sentence: We went to a children’s theatre. (Teacher write it on theblackboard)

Answer the second question. Then show pictures to teach men, women.

Teach the words: actor told joke
Practice the sentence: The actors told lots of jokes. (Teacher write it on the blackboard.)

T: The jokes are very interesting. So they laughed a lot.

肯定句的构成：主语+动词过去式+其他.

1. Look at the blackboard, try to retell the letter.
2.Look at some pictures. Ask and answer in pairs.(PPT出示)

Step 5：TaskCompletion
1.Tell the experience of my Sunday. (PPT出示)
2. Talk about in groups, thenfind some students to say.
3. Write a letter to your friend to tell him or her what you did last week.
【设计意图】培养学生在现实生活中得运用过去时的能力，达到学以致用的目标，同时可以以此反馈学生本课学习目标的达成情况，为二单元的巩固课提供备课指导。

【教学反思】
教师在单词或词组的教学中，不能只是教读单词或词组。要循序渐进的插入本单元的重点句子，让学生在记单词或词组的过程中熟悉句子。这样能满足不同学习水平的学生的学习要求。根据学生的个人素质、性格特点、记忆力、反应速度等，因材施教，分层要求，以求通过最有效的激励机制促进学生进步。最后，在今后的每一节课中都要灵活运用所学句型，请学生造句，培养学生的创新意识。
