Part B Let’s Learn
一、教学目标
知识目标:能听、说、认读有关天气的单词: sunny, snowy,rainy,cloudy , windy。(2)认读地点类单词:London,Moscow,Singapore,Sydney。
能力目标:能准确使用句型:“What’s the weather like in …? ??It’s hot and sunny/…in Sydney/…” 来描述不同地方的天气情况
3、情感目标: 通过对天气的学习,知道在不同的天气穿对衣服,保护自己不生病
二、教学重点、难点
学习单词:sunny, snowy,rainy,cloudy , windy
学习句型:What’s the weather like in …? ??It’s hot and sunny/…in Sydney/…
难点:运用所学的句型描述各地天气
三、教学准备:多媒体课件、单词卡、图片、雷雨声和刮风声音频
四、教学过程
Step1、Warm-up
1、Greetings.
2、Divide students into two groups. They can choose one piece of clothes for their group if they did a good job.设置此积分机制的目的是为最后情感目标的达成做铺垫,最后环节学生可以将自己组所得的衣物归类在不同的天气中,让学生明白在不同的天气情况下需搭配不同的衣物。
3、Watch a video about weather.
T;What is the video about? Is it about food? Is it about clothes?
Ss:No.
T: You are right. It is about weather. 引出本节课的主题:天气
Step2、Presentation
T:Look at this map. It’s a map of Xi’an?
Ss: No!
T: It’s a map of the world. Today we are going to learn about the
world weather.引出世界的天气的概念
T: Look! Where is it? 通过对学生所居住和生活的城市进行引入,消除学生对主题内容的陌生感。
Ss: It’s Xi’an.
T:What’s the weather like in Xi’an? Let’s listen. 播放刮风的声音,让学生听到是刮风的天气。教授windy,使用TPR教学法和自然拼读的方法。重复句型It’s windy in Xi’an.
T:I want to go traveling. Do you want to go with me?
Ss:Yes!
T: Ok! Let’s go together
T: Wow! Now I am in Sydney. What’ the weather like in Sydney? It’s very hot. We can see the sun. So it’s sunny in Sydney. (1)教学sunny (课件出示图片) a.自然拼读语音教学。b. TPR (Sunny, sunny, it’s sunny.) 。c.带入句子What’s the weather like in Sydney? It’s sunny in Sydney.进行操练。
T: It’s sunny and hot in Sydney. I want to go to London. What’s the weather like in London? Let’s listen. 播放下雨的声音音频,让学生听到声音后猜出是下雨天。(2)教学单词rainy.?a.自然拼读语音教学。b. TPR 。c.带入句子What’s the weather like in London? It’s rainy in London.进行操练。(3)教学snowy. T: Now I am in Moscow. We can see it’s very cold in Moscow. What’ the weather like in Moscow??(课件出示图片) ? a.语音教学。b.边唱歌谣边做动作(snowy, snowy, it’s snowy.) 。 c.带入句子What’s the weather like…?进行操练。
(4)同步骤教授单词cloudy。
(5) Point out that sunny, cloudy, windy, snowy and rainy are weather.
Step3: Practice:
1、What‘s missing?
2. Play a game:
Ss: Rainshine, Rainshine(老师名字), what’s the weather like?
T: it’s sunny. 学生听到老师的回答后,需使用TPR表示该天气,同时重复句型。当老师说到某个指定回答,如 It’s rainy.则学生需迅速坐下。
3. Listen to the tape, point and read the words.?
4. Pair work: Look at the map, then ask and answer in pairs.
Step 4: Conduction:
Group work
Students are divided into some groups. They are supposed to travel to a city and make a dialogue about weather in this city. Then act it out.
Step 5: Consolidation:
Have students put the clothes of each group next to different weather. Help students know they are supposed to dress right for the weather.
Homework
Draw a mind-map about weather.
