一、教材分析
本课教材为外研社(新标准)(三年级起点)六年级下册Module 5 Unit 1 He is playing the suona, but the phone rings.本单元的话题是描述描述正在做一件事情时另一件事情同时发生的场景。Daming 在他的生日聚会上为朋友吹唢呐,此时电话响了,他只好停下来。然后Daming再次吹起唢呐,但门铃响了,他又停了下来。这时又来了不少朋友,Simon的小狗也来了。Daming 第三次吹起唢呐时,小狗大声叫了起来,朋友们都听不到Daming的演奏。Simon 对小狗说:“别叫了!”小狗再不叫了,大家都笑了起来。本单元的学习重点是复习现在进行时的运用,任务是介绍自己的一次聚会。本单元共1课时完成。
二、学情分析
本单元的教学对象是小学六年级学生,该年龄段的学生已经有一定的英语基础,也掌握了学习英语的基本方法。本单元的学习重点是复习现在进行时的运用,通过复习使全体学生能运用该语法介绍自己的一次聚会。本课的话题,贴近学生的生活实际。利用学生周围的实际生活,诱导学生运用本课所学的新语言,积极实践,大胆交流。
三、教学目标

六、教学过程
(一)复习导入Warm-up and lead in( 4 分钟)
1、Greetings
(The teacher say hello to boys and girls.)
2、Revision
(1) Look at the pictures and make sentences with “be doing”.(show PPT)
(2) Show a picture of Part One and ask what are the frogs doing? Let’s watch the CD-ROM of Part One. Then listen and repeat.
(二)任务呈现Task presentation( 2分钟)
T: The dogs are unhappy, but Daming is very happy. Because today is Daming’s birthday, do you want to know more details about his birthday party? After today’s learning please talk about one of your parties with your friends. (show PPT)
(三)课文学习Text learning( 18 分钟)
1、Look at the picture of Part Two and feel the situation. (show PPT)
2、Watch the CD-ROM and answer the questions. (show PPT)
(How many times does Daming stop playing the suona?)
3、Read the text and answer the questions.(show PPT)
(1) Daming is playing the suona, but what happens?
(2) Daming is playing the suona again, but what happens?
(3) Daming is playing the suona for the third time, but what happens?
a. Read the text silently and underline the answers.
b. Talk about them in groups.
4、Answer the questions and learn the new words.(play, third, time, bark, loudly) (show PPT)
5、Look at the pictures and write down sentences.
6、Listen to the tape again and repeat.
(四)训练巩固 Practice( 6 分钟)
1、Practice reading the text in groups and try to act it out.
