教学内容:小学PEP第四册教材Unit Three Weather B Let’s learn.
教学目标:
1.能够听、说、认读5个描述天气的单词:rainy, snowy, cloudy, sunny, windy。
2. 了解Sydney等国际城市的名称和天气状况。能够在语境中正确运用这5个单词描述天气状况。
3. 在新的语境中正确使用新学的词汇和句型来描述天气情况。
教学重点:
1.windy等五个天气词汇的正确发音和构词特点。
2.句型:What’s the weather like in……? It’s … .
It’s …and…in….
教学难点:
所学句子在情境中的应用;几个重要城市的名称和地理位置。

教学过程:
一、复习引题
1、Greeting;
( T: Hello, boys and girls. S: Hello, Miss Wu.
T: Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you,too.
T: How are you? S:I’m fine ,thank you./ Very well, thanks.
And you ? T: I’m fine, too. Thank you!
T: What’s the weather like today? It’s…I feel…How about you?)
T: What time is it? It’s ….It’s time for English class/ It’s time to have English class.
2、Enjoy a song: Thunder. (引入本节课的评价机制)
(T: Let’s sing together. Well done! Who can tell me, What’s the weather in the song? It’s thundering. It’s rainy(下雨) .Look at the blackboard. It’s rainy here. Do you like rainy? No… if you do a good job, I’ll take a drop off. When all drops gone, the sun will rise. You can win. Are you clear?)
二、教学新课
1、单词windy教学。 T: Is it nice weather? Yes, it is. Nice weather is good for travelling. Woul you like to travel around the world with Miss Wu? Let’s go by plane.大家一起坐飞机,学生做出飞的动作,fly ,fly ,fly! Oh, The Great Wall. Where is it? 让学生说出It’s in Beijing. We are in Beijing now. I feel a little cool. How do you feel? Listen!(通过声音呈现单词)What’s the weather like in Beijing? It’s windy.(然后进行单词教学) It’s cool and windy. It’s cool and windy in Beijing.(板书单词和句型)教了windy后,说 It’s often windy and sandy in Beijing. People in Beijing are not happy. (显示风沙天气图片)然后出示几个句子,让学生判断:Do you know what they can do and what they can’t do on a windy day in Beijing? 1.play football on the playground 2. fly a kite.
3.watch TV at home 4.open the windows.
2、单词snowy教学。OK,It’s time to say goodbye to Beijing now. let’s go on travelling. Fly fly fly! Let’s fly to Moscow.(通过看图片,视觉呈现)snow, snow. I see snow. Unbelievable, It’s so amazing. It’s the first time I see the snow. What’s the weather like in Moscow? It’s snowy. It’s cold and snowy. It’s cold and snowy in Moscow. 在教了snowy之后,补充Let’s chant: Snowy day, snowy day.We are happy and gay. [ɡe?] 快乐的,愉快的;Make a snowball--roll and roll.Make a snowman—big and tall. ['sn??b?:l] 雪球 [r??l] 滚翻
3、单词rainy教学。Children, we have to say goodbye to Moscow now. Let’s move on.. Fly fly fly! Let’s fly to London. We know, London is the capital of UK. Listen,(通过听觉呈现新词) Oh, it’s rainy now. What’s the weather in London? It’s rainy. It’s cool and rainy. It’s cool and rainy in London.) 在教了rainy之后,补充一首歌曲: Rainy day, rainy day, I don’t like rainy day. Can’t play balls.Can’t go out. What a boring rainy day!(这个歌曲可以唱新年好呀的旋律)
(Can you sing Happy New Year? Let’s sing s song: Rainy day. )
4、单词cloudy教学。 OK,Let’s say goodbye to Moscow. Let’s go to the next station. Fly fly fly! Let’s fly to Singapore. Wow a strange statue [?st?t?u:] 雕像. What’s this? It’s the head of lion and the tail of fish. Singapore is a very small . Singapore is a small country. Look,(简笔画呈现) what’s the weather like in Singapore? It’s cloudy. It’s warm and cloudy. It’s warm and cloudy in Singapore .)
5、单词sunny教学。 Children, we have to say goodbye to Singapore now. Let’s go on travelling. Fly fly fly! Let’s fly to Sydney. Where is Sydney? It’s in Australia. Look at me! Guess!(教师做动作呈现) What’s the weather like in Sydney? It’s sunny. It’s hot and sunny. It’s hot and sunny in Sydney.)
Zip :What’s the weather like today?
Zoom:It’s sunny.
Zip:Wow! Sunny day. How nice! Let’s go swimming, Ok?
Zoom :Good idea! Let’s go.
(It’s a sunny day. It’s so hot. Zip and Zoom are good friends. They meet each other . They have a talk. Do you want to know what they are talking about? 1.Pair work, one is Zip,the other is Zoom. 2. Boys you are Zoom. girls you are Zip.)
6、教师引导学生注意观察以上单词,即每个形容词都以y结尾,发成/i/音。
(Look at these words, please. What can you find? 1. every word has a small tail “y”;2. The letter “y”sounds /i/;3. These are adjective [??d??kt?v] words.第3点可选说)
三、巩固操练(Practice)
1、听录音跟读单词。
(1) Listen and number.(Listen to me. Children, show me your book and turn to Page 28,and then take your pens up and mark number on your books. Listen and number, can you understand? )
(2) Repeat the words, please.
2、Let’s play a game : What weather is missing?
(We have learned five weather words just now. OK, Let’s play a game. What weather is missing?) 1. Topic: your favorite weather.
3、A topic : your favorite weather.
(1,Let’s talk about what’s your favorite weather with your partner.2,展示 ) 建议先做一个讨论:What’s your favorite weather? Or : what weather do you like? 学生回答并说出理由。如:I like sunny day because I can play football/go shopping/go to school. 先同桌交流。
3、听播报天气部分的录音,播报其余城市的天气。
1. listen to the tape; 2.Retell the report; 3.Answer my questions: (1).How many people can you see? (2). Who are they? (3). What’s the girl’s job? (Her job is reporting the weather. Can you act like her?) 4. Report the weather in the other cities .
四、综合运用活动。
拓展延伸(Consolidation)
(1) 呈现拓展部分的图片和单词。(Let’s meet some new friends)
(2) 播放一段描述天气特点的语篇。
(3) 完成Listen , tick and say。(设计一个表格发给学生,里面有城市和天气图片)
(听力的内容是:Good morning, It's 7 o'clock. Here’s the weather report for some big cities in China. It is cold and windy in Beijing. It is cool and rainy in Shanghai. It’s foggy in Harbin.
