Students analysis
Because the student is in rural area, the foundation of their English level is weak. It’s my responsible to stimulate their interest and enthusiasm in English learning, and try my best to create the situation to make them speak English.

Grasp words and sentences in this lesson.

Understand the sentences: Do a good job! No problem! You’re?fired!
Teaching process
Step1: warm-up
1. Greeting (purpose: create the atmosphere of English learning.)
2.Let‘s do games and let‘s sing
(Purpose: stimulate the interest and enthusiasm.)
3. Review the words, phrases and do a chant.
Electronic White Board shows pictures: skirt, shoes
Review words: pretty, nice, expensive, and cheap.
Review sentences: How much is it? It’s …
Practice methods: 1. Read together
2. Read one by one
3. Read in opposite tune
4. Read by magic gun(a game)
Step 2 Presentation
1. Look and say
Show a picture: T: Look, who is she?
Practice: assistant
(purpose: lay the foundation of the following passage, make students can understand Zoom’s job easily.)
2. Think and answer
T: Do you know how to be a good assistant?
S: Should be polite and friendly
(purpose:there are two standards to judge whether Zoom is polite and friendly as an assistant.)
3.Story presentation
a: T: Today there is a new assistant, do you want to know?
b: Show six questions about the story
Who are they? 2) Where are they? 3) What do they do? 4) What’s the result of the story? 5) Why? 6) What do you think of Zoom?
(Purpose: according to the six elements of the story, make the student grasp the story line)
c: Play the flash,students watch the video and answer the questions
d: Watch the video again, teach the difficult sentences: Zoom,do a good job! No problem! Zoom, you’re fired! And the exchange rate of $ and¥.
e: learning from the story
Question:No matter what we do, we should do it ______?
(Purpose:This exercise make the student to use pad,in order to improve students’ interest in English learning , and improve their ability of technology.)
f: Listen and imitate
Play the tape,students listen and imitate.(purpose:input the original sound, improve students’ oral English.)
g: Role play
Work in group to perform the story.(purpose:performing the story ,can improve students’ ability of comprehensive language application.)
Step 3 Consolidation
Exercise “I'm a designer”
Show the clothes designed by themselves (purpose:this exercise make the student to speak English in passage, which not only check their learning of this unit , but also improve their oral English.)
Step 4 Homework
1) Tell the story to your parents.
2) Do a thing carefully (for example: do homework, do housework. etc )
