The simple past tense.
When do we use the simple past tense?
The usages of the simple past tense：

2.过去某个时间发生的动作

Past forms of action verbs.
1. 一般情况下，加 –ed。

2. 以辅音字母加 y 结尾的词，改 y 为 i，再加 -ed。

5. 不规则变化。
