The content of my lesson is module 6 in New Standard English Book 1. By studying of this unit, students are able to know more about and the internet and the telecommunications and develop their sense of the online safety. At the same time, the students are able to learn how to use the Internet properly and to help with their study.

Step1:Greeting and Warm-up(4mins)
Greeting the whole class.
Introduce the students that we will learn to Module 6, and ask them the title of this unit.
Then, Show a short video about how the internet changes our life. Students will watch it with the question: what can we do with the Internet
Step2:Pre-reading(9mins)
The Ss will learn some new words and expressions , which help them read the passage more easily .
Step3:While-reading(18mins)
To go through the passage to get the main idea.
Read carefully to answer the questions about specific details.
Step4:Post-Reading(10mins)
The students will have discussions about the disadvantages of Internet, especially about the online safety.
Group work: the students have discussion about how to protect themselves online.
Step5:Summary(3mins)
The students will be guided to summarize what they have learnt in this class.
