Teaching aims：
1、能够听、说、读、写四会短语：“pick apples, go swimming, pick apples, make a snowman”.
2、能够用“Which season do you like best?-Spring/Summer/Autumn/
Winter.-Why?-Because …”来讨论自己所喜欢的季节及原因。
3、能激发学生热爱自然、保护自然的情感。
Key point：
四会短语“pick apples, go swimming, pick apples, make a snowman”.
Difficult point：
能够用“Which season do you like best?-Spring/Summer/Autumn/ Winter.-Why?-Because …”进行语言交际。
Teaching procedure：
Step 1: Warming-up
T:LookI There are so many beautiful flowers everywhere. What season is it?
S:Spring.
T:Yes,it’s spring. My favourite season is spring. Now let’s sing the song “What’s your favourite season?”
Then all the students sing the song “What’s your favourite season?”After that, the teacher choose some students to answer the question “What’s your favourite season?”
Step 2:Revision
1、Show the four pictures and review the words “spring、summer、autumn、winter”, then ask the students to describe the four seasons.
2、Show the table, ask students to make up the dialogue like this:
A:Which season do you like best?
B: Sring/Summer/Autumn/winter.
A: What’s the weather like in spring/summer/autumn/winter?
B: It’s …
Step 3: Presentation
1、Show the four pictures and learn the new phrases “go on a picnic、
go swimming、pick apples、make a snowman”.
2、Play the games “Guess” and “Which is missing?”
3、Show the picture and learn the new dialogue:
A: Which season do you like best?
B: Spring.
A: Why?
B: Because there are beautiful flowers ererywhere.
I often go on a picnic with my family.
Step 4: Practise
1、Show the table, ask and answer following the model:
A:Which season do you like best?
B:...
A:Why?
B:Because...
2、Do a survey
Students work in groups and finish the survey.
3、Make a report
Students make the report in groups according to the survey, here is the model: Hello, everyone! Here is a result of our group.
There are... people in our group. ...likes...best, because he/she....I like....best, because I ....
