一、教学目标
1. 学生能够理解对话大意；
2. 能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话；
3. 能在情境中恰当运用句型“What’s the weather like in ...?”对天气情况进行询问；
4.能够在语境中理解新词degree、rainy的意思并能正确发音。
5.教师可以帮助学生了解中西方对气温描述时的差异，即中国以摄氏度为单位，西方以华氏为单位。
6. 提高学生的英语交际能力，培养学生学习英语的自信心。

Step 1: Warm-up
1. 课堂口语练习。
T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you.
Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
T: How are you today?
Ss: Very well, thanks.
T: S1, what’s the weather like today?
S1: It’s ...

2. sing a song 《Rain rain go away》

(1) 教学单词rainy
通过歌曲的导入让学生对rain有个初步印象，然后教师用课件出示rain图片，帮助学生明白其意思。并且知道名词与形容词的区别。
T:please close your eyes and think careful what kind of sound of can you hear in this song?
S:The sound of the rain.
T:Wonderful!It,s the sound of the rain.so what’s the weather like?
S:Tt,s rain.
T:I think you,d better say like this: it,s rainy.
(2) 教学句型What’s the weather like in ……? How about ...?
T:Just now I always used a sentence to ask the weather, can you repeat it?
S: What’s the weather like…….?
T:Yes,now I want to ask the weather in Beijing ,so I can ask like this:
教师利用课件出示北京天气情况图片，预报图上显示城市的气温，教师在介绍城市气温的同时引出单词degree，，并让学生在对话中灵活运用该单词，如It’s 26℃ in Beijing. It,s warm.
T: Of course ,ask the weather in Beijing I can say” How about the weather like ...?”
(3) 教师介绍对话情境。
T: Chen Jie and her American friend, Mark, are talking on the phone. They’re talking about the weather. Let’s listen to the tape and know something about their talking.
3.打电话时如何介绍自己？
第三次对话录音，全班学生跟着录音读对话，读完后填空。
