1)Warming up
a.Sing a song.播放一首英语歌曲,带着学生一起唱出来.(PPT1播放)
b.Greeting:
Good morning boys and girls. Today , Miss Li will take you guys to a wonderful place. Look at that picture, lots of animals live there.看看那张图片(PPT2),很多小动物生活在那里。Guess, 猜一猜,这是哪里啊,(假装听到)Oh, how clever you are! Zoo, 动物园。Do you want to go with me 你们想不想和我一起去?Ok! Let’s go!(PPT3) 看看有哪些小动物正在等我们。
2)Presentation and drills

①播放大象叫声 What’s that 那是什么 (让学生抢答)One, two , you please. Elephant. Look at that elephant ,it’s big.(板书和图片)指着图片, The ears are big , legs are big ,body is very big.(做出极为夸张的动作,让学生理解big),带读三遍big big a big elephant.Here you are.现在你是一只高大的大象了。
②what’s that Look at that mouse ,it’s small.动作夸张(板书和图片)试着用动作告诉孩子big 和small 的区别和特点。带读small small a small mouse. Here you are ,you are a small mouse now.The elephant is big ,the mouse is small.(PPT)the cat is big ,the mouse is small.
③播放猴子叫声 What’s that Look at that monkey ,it’s funny.(板书和图片),用图片挡住脸boys and girls. Look at me, I am Miss Monkey, Am I funny.试着做出搞笑的动作,引导孩子说出funny的意义。
④⑤同样方法教授新的词组a strong tiger, a beautiful bird.把图片分发各五个学生让他们进行下轮的游戏。
3)Practice
a.Boys and girls , let’s play a game now. 拿着卡片的同学请闭上眼睛,其他同学Look at my mouse , 大声重复我说的词组,手持卡片的同学快速上台贴在黑板恰当的位子上,贴对的组可以获得奖励。Are you ready Ready go.A big elephant ,a small mouse, afunny monkey, a strong tiger,a beautiful bird.评价学生表现给予加分。
b.带读Look at that elephant, it’s big.稍微点出that 和this 的区别,再引导学生读一句Look at this mouse, it’s small.让学生站起来充当小老师带读剩下的三句,给予语言和手势的提示。
c.播放A部分录音,回答问题1、How many kinds of animals are there
2、What are they
再次播放A部分录音,让每一组跟读一句,读得好的组加分。

引申主题
欣赏一组温馨自然的动物与人类和谐相处的图片,播放音乐,总结引申:Boys and girls , people and animals are friends forever 同学们,看着以上的那些图片,(有时间可以让学生用英语来说一说喜欢的动物),我们是不是会更加喜欢小动物呢?是的,人类和动物是永远的朋友,We should love animals , and love nature.Try your best to protect them.我们应该怎么做呢?我们应该热爱动物,热爱自然,尽力保护他们。对吗?Well done.So much for today.
