1） 一词多义
touch：
1. They did not touch this topic.
2. I felt someone touch me on the shoulder.
3. The mother touched her lips to the child’s forehead.
4. Sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch are the main senses.
5. Few students in our school can touch him in music.

2） 介词的翻译

3） 代词的翻译。
If they are disappointed at one place, the drillers（钻探石油的人）go to another.
钻探石油的人如果在一个地方得不到石油，便到另一个地方去（钻探）。
Many children were playing close to the water, and we were surprised by their daring(大胆).
那一天，许多孩子正在靠近水边的地方玩耍，他们那样大胆，使我们非常吃惊。

英语被动语态通常翻译成汉语主动句。
解题策略
2. At that time, robots can be seen everywhere.
那时候，机器人随处可见。

—— Yes, that’s it.
—— 这是你要买的电子词典吗？
—— 没错。
6）it 句型的翻译
I think it’s good to do a job that you are interested in.
我认为做自己感兴趣的 工作是一大乐事。
引导词it做形式主语、形式宾语时，或在强调句型中，本身没有独立的意义，可以省译。
解题策略
7）. 省略连词。
The sun is bright, and the sky is clear.
阳光明媚，晴空万里。
If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
冬天来了，春天还会远吗？
Because he is too selfish, we decide not to be friends with him any longer.
因为他太自私了，所以我们决定不再和他做朋友。
8） 增加连词。
Though they are often disappointed if they fail, most of them never give up.
虽然他们失败后会常常感到失望，但是他们大多数人从不言放弃。
桂林是个有山有水的地方。
较短的定语从句译成带“的”的前置定语,把复合句译成简单句。
1. Gui Lin is a place where there are mountains and rivers.
9） 定语从句的翻译。
解题策略
结构复杂且较长的定语从句后置，译成并列句，重复先行词 。
2. I met an old man who asked me to pay attention to health and take exercise every day.
我遇到一位老人，这位老人 要我注意健康，每天锻炼。
解题策略
（模一）1. Bargaining is another custom that I have tried to learn. 如果你要生活在中国，讨价还价是你一项必不可少的技能。
