既然过去发生的事应该用一般过去时来叙述，那么今天早上发生的事应该用什么时态呢？答案将通过本课揭晓。

He made models this morning.
Did he do his homework after that?
No, he didn’t. He played table tennis.
What did she do in English class?
She wrote in English class.
Did she have a math class after that?
No, she didn’t. He had a music class.
What did they do when they went to home?
They had dinner when they went to home.
Did they watch TV after that?
No, they didn’t. They saw a film.
Summary
如果我们要描述已经发生过的事，即使这件事发生在今天（如 this morning/in music class），我们也要用一般过去时。
Eg: What did you do this afternoon?
I ate in the dining hall.
Note: 这种情况下，常用一些提示过去发生的词或短语，如 this morning，in the Chinese class，when you were。但是，这些词或短语有时也会用于其他时态如 I will eat potatoes this afternoon.
