教学设计:
Step 1 热身与复习(Warming-up and preview)
1. Sing some English songs.
2. TPR to revise some words (playing, eating, shopping, running, studying, sleeping, painting, writing)
Step 2 展示新课(Presentation)
第一课时(Period 1)
1. Do a action, let students to guess. Then lead to a new word “watching TV”.
2. Show the word card, read it twice. Let pupils follow and act.
3. Act and teach another new word “riding a bike”.
4. Ask pupils “What’s your hobby?” Help them answer “My hobby is riding a bike.”
5. Teach the sentence pattern and let them ask and answer one by one.
6. Teach the rest words “ice-skating, listening to music, playing cards, making models” in the same way.
7. Listen to the tape and learn Vocabulary.
8. Listen to the tape and learn Target.
第二课时(Period 2)
1. Use the pictures to make dialogues with students and bring out the new sentence pattern of Target (Picture2) .
2. Practice this new sentence pattern.
3. Talking: I like riding a bike. What do you like doing? Let the students use “I like…” to answer the question.
4. Help the students to use “What do you like doing? I like…” to making dialogues.
5. Set up a question “What does Gogo like doing?”. Learn Story.
1) Play the tape and point to each picture for students to follow.
2) Play the tape again, pausing after each sentences to let students repeat.
3) Role play: give them the roles of Gogo and Ben. Put students into groups of two to practice this dialogue.
6. Listen to the tape and learn Song.
第三课时(Period 3)
1. Practice 1: Listen and number.
2. Play and say Activity 1.
3. Sounds and words.
1) Write bird and girl on the board and underline “i-e”.
2) Teach students to pronounce [ai]. Tell students the sound is the same of “I”.
3) Play the tape and have students point to each word as the tape says it. After that, play the tape again and let students repeat.
4) After enough practice, point to the pictures randomly and have students say the words.
5) Ask students look at pictures on part 2.
6) Play the tape for the chant. Read out the lyrics sentence by sentence and have students repeat.
7) Play the tape again and have students chant along.
Step 3 练习(Practice)
1. Use “What’s your hobby?” to practice the new words.
2. Make the dialogue in pairs.
3. Call up some pairs to perform.
4. Set up a question “What does Gogo like doing?” Learn Story.
