Step1: Warming up.
1. 出示一个电视引出本单元话题:Television(板书)
2. 介绍Television的简写形式——TV(板书)及telly.
Step2:Presentation.
1. Tell;There are many different TV progammes.直接呈现电视节目图片,和学生学习电视节目名称:cartoon(s)/nature programme(s)/detective film(s)/sports programme(s)/science fiction film(s)/romantic film(s)并板书单词:cartoons和detective.
同时在教学这些词汇的时候,可以用一些学过的对话来呈现.(Do you like cartoons??
What do you watch?
2.老师将各类电视节目的单词卡片随意发给学生,然后老师指着黑板上各类电视节目的图片带领全班同学说出节目名称,再让执有单词卡片的同学根据读音将单词与图像试着配对。如果有错,学生间相互讨论并订正。
3.采用个人、对子、小组、全班等多种形式学说这些词汇。
4.板书和拼读四会词汇:cartoon, detective.
5.完成练习Listen and point.

Step I.Warm-up
Ask:What do you / does ... like? Why? What do you / does ... often watch?
StepII.presentation
1)Teacher say: I like nature programmes, I think they are interesting / great. I don’t like romantic films, I think they are boring/ stupid.
2) Today I’ll show you my friend,Mingming and his sister.Guess! What does he like or doesn’t like? What does his sister like or doesn’t like?
2)Now listen carefully.

3)Ask the pupils to read and answer, “What programmes can you find? When does it begin? What do they think of the programmes? ” Then tell them : KungFu Panda is a cartoon. Man and nature is a nature programme.
4)Show some time to say ,then ask the pupils to look at Part4, listen and draw the time.
5)Ask the pupils to fill in the blanks in groups.
Step III. Practice
1) Ask them to ask and answer in pairs. “- When does ... begin? – I begins at ...”, then show in class.
2)Ask the pupils to talk about the progeammes they like and don’t like freely.
Step IV. Extension
1) Make a dialogue according to the text after a model.
CAI show the following:
- Mingming, do you like watching TV?
-Yes. I always watch on Saturday and Sunday.
- What programmes do you like?
- I like cartoons. I think they are interesting.This evening there is a cartoon on called Kung Fu Panda.
- When does it begin?
- At twenty to eight. Do you want
to watch with me?
-Yes.
- Let’s go. Ask the pupils to act out.
2)Ask the pupils to make a dialogue about Mingming’s sister, then show in class.
Step V. Sum-up
TV programmes are interesting. But we can’t watch them the whole day. We should choose the suitable programmes to watch in? our free time

?本节课通过和学生对话交流,熟练了句型What do you watch?及答语,了解了学生及其家人看电视的习惯,区分了like和likes,watch和watches的准确用法。学生在阅读理解和对话的基础上能够简单表达自己及家人看电视的习惯并写成一段文章,在获得英语知识的同时,积累了阅读与写作技巧,目标达成且知识学得扎实有效。由于活动多,时间有限,学生未很好地完成写作练习,需要课后完成。而且学生受母语的影响,经常出现语法上的错误,这是今后一段很长时间内应注意的。个别学生动词第三人称单数变化还需加强训练。

T: We can call it telly.

本节课集诗歌欣赏和阅读于一身,既有学生喜闻乐见的广告,又有更新奇的诗歌押韵,首先学生对本课很感兴趣。在此基础上,教师进行了有效的引导,举了若干易理解的例子,让学生把很难的东西很容易地理解了,课上起来就更顺手。学生通过学习,阅读理解能力增强,知识获得了拓展,并从中受到了教育。????
