1. 出示一个电视引出本单元话题：Television（板书）
2. 介绍Television的简写形式——TV（板书）及telly.
Step2：Presentation.
1. Tell；There are many different TV progammes.直接呈现电视节目图片，和学生学习电视节目名称：cartoon(s)/nature programme(s)/detective film(s)/sports programme(s)/science fiction film(s)/romantic film(s)并板书单词：cartoons和detective.
同时在教学这些词汇的时候，可以用一些学过的对话来呈现.(Do you like cartoons??

2.老师将各类电视节目的单词卡片随意发给学生，然后老师指着黑板上各类电视节目的图片带领全班同学说出节目名称，再让执有单词卡片的同学根据读音将单词与图像试着配对。如果有错，学生间相互讨论并订正。
3.采用个人、对子、小组、全班等多种形式学说这些词汇。
4.板书和拼读四会词汇：cartoon, detective.
5.完成练习Listen and point.

2) Today I’ll show you my friend,Mingming and his sister.Guess! What does he like or doesn’t like? What does his sister like or doesn’t like?

Step IV. Extension
1) Make a dialogue according to the text after a model.

?本节课通过和学生对话交流，熟练了句型What do you watch?及答语，了解了学生及其家人看电视的习惯，区分了like和likes，watch和watches的准确用法。学生在阅读理解和对话的基础上能够简单表达自己及家人看电视的习惯并写成一段文章，在获得英语知识的同时，积累了阅读与写作技巧，目标达成且知识学得扎实有效。由于活动多，时间有限，学生未很好地完成写作练习，需要课后完成。而且学生受母语的影响，经常出现语法上的错误，这是今后一段很长时间内应注意的。个别学生动词第三人称单数变化还需加强训练。
